Now that the new year has begun, players are eagerly awaiting the first update for 2026. The last major update, Cold Snap for ARC Raiders, came out in December. It included a lot of improvements, bug fixes, and new content to enjoy during the holidays. The biggest new feature was the Cold Snap map modifier, which adds dangerous weather that can quickly harm players who aren’t careful. The update also introduced new quests, items, a new set of Raider challenges, an event, and other additions.

StarRupture became available to early access players on January 7th, letting them start playing before the official launch. However, the game is still under development and will receive further updates and improvements before its full release.

While it isn’t Star Wars itself, the game delivers a similar experience with its exciting space battles, strong team spirit, and well-designed action sequences.

There are plenty of reasons to play the Marvel’s Spider-Man games again. They’re simply great superhero experiences, with fun combat, smooth movement, and engaging stories. The games still look fantastic, and many players enjoy spending time taking pictures in photo mode. New Game Plus makes replaying even easier, letting you use all the costumes you’ve unlocked. But beyond just being consistently enjoyable, 2026 is a particularly good time to revisit these games because of upcoming events like the release of Marvel’s Wolverine, the 1000th issue of The Amazing Spider-Man (TASM), and the Brand New Day storyline.
