KuCoin Shares Campus Survey Results: 82% Students in Vietnam Interested in Blockchain

Recently conducted by KuCoin, a prominent global cryptocurrency exchange, the findings of their KuCoin Campus Survey have been disclosed. Over the course of two days, December 3rd and 4th, 2024, a total of 926 students were surveyed across Asia. The results indicate a burgeoning fascination towards cryptocurrencies among young individuals in this region.

92% of students optimistic about crypto, KuCoin report says

According to KuCoin’s campus survey conducted in Vietnam during December 2024, it was found that an overwhelming 92% of participants expressed positivity about the future of digital assets. Furthermore, as per the statement released by the exchange, a significant 82% of respondents are exploring careers related to blockchain technology, suggesting a growing pool of talent keen on growth and seizing opportunities within this industry.

It’s clear that Vietnam plays a pivotal role for platforms like KuCoin and the wider cryptocurrency community, given that 68% of respondents showed an extremely high level of interest in blockchain technology. This makes Vietnam a vital center for crypto inventions and active community interaction.

Furthermore, about three-quarters (75%) of the surveyed participants already own cryptocurrencies, indicating a fully grown market primed for additional growth and integration.

Alicia Kao, who serves as Managing Director at KuCoin, shared her enthusiasm over the survey results and the increasing interest in cryptocurrency within the region.

Additionally, the study revealed a strong preference for various positions within the blockchain sector, as data analysis roles (24%), marketing (22%) and business development (21%) emerged as the top choices preferred by many.
