In this epic sea battle for the “One Piece,” fans can expect an unforgettable confrontation between the dominant forces. Moreover, Oda will delve deep into the backgrounds of many crucial characters he’s been saving up over the years, including most of the current Yonko order.
In the climactic chapters of “One Piece”, there’s an ominous sense of mortality lurking. This is the point where the most powerful characters will engage in fierce battles, which undeniably heightens the risks. It’s almost certain that some characters will meet their end during this storyline, and fans are well aware that the Yonko could be among those who fall.
The Current Order Of The Yonko In One Piece
- The Four Emperors Order Has Changed Considerably
- Luffy and Buggy are the Latest Additions
In the narrative, it was Garp who initially introduced the Four Emperors, and it can be confidently stated that Oda skillfully wove them into the storyline, granting them pivotal roles. During the Water 7 Saga, the Four Emperors consisted of Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido, and Shanks. However, since then, the composition of the Four Emperors has undergone a significant transformation. The first Yonko to meet his end in One Piece was none other than Whitebeard himself. This formidable figure launched an attack on the Navy HQ with the intention of rescuing Ace, and he showed no hesitation in sacrificing his life for the cause. His successor, Blackbeard, subsequently joined the ranks of the Four Emperors. The Wano Country Arc, which saw the raid on Onigashima aimed at dismantling the alliance between Big Mom and Kaido, was particularly impactful in terms of the Yonko’s dynamics.
Red Hair, also known as one of the Four Sea Kings, shines brightly within the pirate realm.
On the island of Onigashima, spectators witnessed a fierce confrontation between the Worst Generation, supported by Samurai, Ninja, and Minks among others, and formidable pirates. The battle was fought with flair and panache. Despite being as powerful as the Yonko, they struggled under the relentless onslaught and ultimately succumbed. It was primarily Kid and Law, two members of the Worst Generation, who brought down Big Mom, while Luffy single-handedly took charge in the battle against Kaido.
From my vantage point, what truly mattered was the outcome, and it was indeed Kaido and Big Mom who tumbled down. Not long after, an unexpected twist unfolded for the viewers: Luffy and Buggy stepped into their shoes as the new Four Emperors. Alongside Shanks and Blackbeard, this quartet stands tall now, each of them poised to leave a profound impact on the Final Saga that even fans can’t fathom at this moment.
Why There Will Be Yonko Deaths In The Final Saga
The Yonko Are Bound To Fall In One Piece
It’s fair to conclude that the Four Emperors are exceptionally powerful figures who aren’t easily defeated. Their strength is so immense that the Marines often hesitate before confronting them in battle. This pattern has been observed numerous times throughout the story, and most recently, Oda emphasized that the Marines can only fight an Emperor if they receive approval first. Essentially, taking on a Yonko is a formidable challenge, and killing one is even harder. However, audiences can expect some of the Four Emperors to meet their end in the Final Saga.
He who goes on to claim the One Piece will have the world in the palm of their hands. – Vegapunk
As the main character of One Piece, Luffy is typically invulnerable. He’s destined to become the Pirate King, which means he won’t meet his end. Instead, Luffy’s journey involves discovering the fabled One Piece and becoming a legendary pirate in the process. He’ll eventually confront the World Government, aiming to free the world from their control. Therefore, it’s clear that Luffy cannot perish and should be excluded from such discussions.
Despite other Yonko being vulnerable to death, it’s clear that Buggy, due to his weakness, could meet an untimely end. Yet, his demise would not significantly contribute to the storyline. Instead, Buggy serves as comic relief and a source of unexpected surprises for fans. As such, author Oda finds it challenging to write him out of the series.
In the upcoming Final Saga of One Piece, fans will find themselves rooting for Shanks and Blackbeard. Both characters have a high likelihood of meeting their demise in this final arc. Although Shanks is arguably the strongest character in One Piece, he appears to be at risk. It’s no surprise that Shanks will encounter powerful adversaries during combat in the Final Saga, which may involve Blackbeard, Garling Figarland, or even Imu themselves. Any of these characters could potentially bring about Shanks’ downfall, and considering his connection to Luffy and the impact his death would have on the Straw Hat pirates, this possibility becomes increasingly real.
Regarding Blackbeard, it’s widely expected among fans that he could meet his demise during the Final Saga. Being a major antagonist of this saga, many believe his fate is sealed. It’s only a matter of time before Blackbeard suffers defeat, even though he has amassed immense power. Thus, it seems likely that two Empersors in One Piece will ultimately fall during the Final Saga.
Will The Yonko Exist At The End Of One Piece?
With Luffy Becoming The Pirate King, The Yonko Will Cease to Exist
The idea behind the Four Emperors stems from the fact that unlike the seas, there is no single Pirate King. Instead, these four powerful rulers are constantly battling for dominance in their quest to find the fabled One Piece. If Luffy were to become the Pirate King, then the necessity for the Four Emperors would cease to exist because it’s illogical for there to be both a Pirate King and Four Emperors simultaneously. In other words, if Luffy ascends to the position of Pirate King, it means that the Four Emperors no longer exist.
This supports the notion that additional Yonko deaths are imminent. The Final Saga is expected to push every significant faction in One Piece to their breaking points, leading undeniably to numerous strong characters meeting their end on the battlefield. Without a doubt, Shanks and Blackbeard are among the most likely targets for Oda’s plot.
