Ultimate Wolf Bow Guide in Der Eisendrache

Der Eisendrache is considered one of the best Call of Duty Zombies maps, and the Wolf Bow is a huge reason why. It’s a fantastic weapon, especially if someone else has already claimed the Lightning Bow, and it’s well worth learning how to get for playing with friends.

The Wolf Bow is a powerful weapon, comparable to the Thunder Gun, and well worth obtaining. This guide will show you how to earn it in just a few simple rounds.

Step #1: Solve the Paintings Puzzle & Acquire the Broken Arrow

There are four paintings around the map, and you need to interact with them in a specific order:

  1. King on his throne.
  2. King on a horse with his banner.
  3. A castle covered in fire and lightning.
  4. The dead king.

These paintings will spawn randomly across these locations in each game:

  • The Church’s upper left floor, opposite Speed Cola.
  • Before the spiral staircase at the Clock Tower.
  • Inside the castle, after Samantha’s Room but before the Armory.
  • Downstairs in the Upper Courtyard, to the right, inside the Trophy Room.

You’ll know you’ve succeeded when you hear a wolf howl. If you don’t, don’t worry—just try again next time.

You can now go down into the Undercroft. As you descend the stairs, turn left to find wolf symbols on the wall. If you approach and interact with this wall, it will crumble, revealing a broken arrow that you can pick up.

Step #2: Acquire the Wolf Skull

Once you’ve started the Wolf Bow quest, head to the Rocket Pad. Stand facing away from the rocket and look up at the cliff – you’ll see a red flag. Use a fully charged shot from your bow to hit the top of the flag, and a Wolf Skull will fall down. You can then collect it.

Step #3: Spawn and Follow the Wolf Ghost

Now that you have the Wolf Skull, head back to the Undercroft. Look for a box near the pyramid with a wolf symbol on it. To the right of the box, you’ll find a wolf skeleton without a head. Place the Wolf Skull onto the skeleton, and a ghostly wolf will appear.

Follow the spectral wolf—it will guide you to the Upper Courtyard. Once there, begin digging at the ground. When the wolf starts to dig, defeat the zombies that appear. After you’ve defeated 10 zombies, you can investigate the dig site. The wolf will then move on to the Lower Courtyard. Repeat this process in the Undercroft.

If the wolf is gone – either you dismissed it or it vanished on its own – you can go back to the Undercroft and click on its skeleton to bring it back.

Step #4: Obtain the Reforged Arrow

The wolf is now waiting in the back of the Undercroft, where it will sit and bark quietly. Make sure low-gravity mode is turned on – you can activate it by standing on the four squares near the pyramid if you haven’t already.

Okay, so once you get the low-gravity power, you can start running on the walls! What you need to do is shoot all the wolf symbols on the walls with your bow, and that will create a platform you can actually stand on. Then, while you’re on the wall, you can interact with that hole in the wall and place the bones you’ve been collecting – that’s how you get the Reforged Arrow!

Step #5: Feed the Wolf Arrow Souls

Once you have the Reforged Arrow, go to the box in the Undercroft with the wolf markings and use it to place the arrow. Then, you need to defeat approximately 20 zombies near the box. After doing so, you can interact with the arrow again to obtain the Kreeholo lu Kreemasaleet, also known as the Wolf Bow!
