Funselektor has joined forces once more with Strelka Games, creating yet another visually appealing vehicle-focused game titled “Over the Hill“.

If the image’s artwork seems recognizable, that’s because it’s from the same group who created Art of Rally! The publisher describes this as an open-world off-road exploration game that showcases their distinctive minimalist art style, which was refined in Art of Rally. Get ready to leave traditional race tracks behind and venture into unexplored territories across verdant summer meadows, snowy mountain ranges, and other stunning minimalistic landscapes. You can embark on this journey solo or with a companion. This exciting adventure is set to arrive on Steam soon!

Dune Casu, creator of Funselektor, shares: “Having created numerous racing games, we felt it was time to venture off the track. Instead, we wanted to provide players with a massive, immersive environment where they could unwind at a leisurely pace. In essence, this game mirrors my personal adventure traversing North America in my reliable camper van. The wilderness, its tranquility, and the soothing sounds of nature, along with fewer distractions from civilization – that’s the unique charm I hope to capture within this game.

Building on the success of the Golden Lap, which was launched last year, this represents the second joint project developed by these two teams.
