The game is now available in early access following a lengthy legal battle between its developer, Unknown World Entertainment, and publisher, Krafton. With the studio’s CEO back in charge, Krafton is no longer the game’s publisher.
Is Subnautica 2 Early Access Coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2?
As a big fan, I was really hoping to play Subnautica 2 on my PlayStation or Switch, but it looks like early access is only going to be available on PC and Xbox. As of right now, there’s no word on whether it will ever come to those consoles, which is a bit disappointing!
Since the first game came out on PlayStation and Nintendo, it’s likely we’ll see this one on those platforms eventually. However, there are currently no confirmed plans or dates for its release.
