So, listen to this: Purpose Investments, these Canadians, they’re at it again. They just filed some paperwork with the Canadian “watchdog” β sounds more like a pet show than a financial regulator β to launch an XRP ETF. First Bitcoin, then Ether, and now this? They’re like the Energizer Bunny of crypto funds.
And get this, if the Canadians say “eh-OK,” Purpose will be the first in the world to launch an XRP ETF. Talk about trying to one-up the neighbors, am I right?
But Wait, There’s More!
They had a little press thing where they said they want to call it the Purpose Ripple ETF. This Som Seif guy, the founder, he’s all about “innovation” and “bridging gaps.” I mean, who doesn’t love a good bridge? Especially if it leads to more money, right?
“At Purpose, we’re like, super committed to innovation and stuff. XRP’s getting popular, so we’re like, let’s stick it in an ETF. You know, for the people.” β Som Seif, probably.
Blockchain Bonanza
So, these guys are all about mixing old money with new crypto. They’re like the chef who puts chocolate in chili β sounds weird, but maybe it works?
Vlad Tasevski, their Chief Innovation Officer (which sounds like a made-up title, but okay), says they want everyone to be BFFs with crypto. As if your grandma’s going to start trading XRP. Pfft.
Oh, and in other news, Grayscale’s trying to jazz up its XRP Trust, and BlackRock might jump on the bandwagon. Because if everyone’s doing it, it must be cool, right?
Will the Americans Jump on Board?
Now, the big question: will the Yanks get their own XRP ETF? It’s like waiting for Godot, but with more lawyers. The Ripple-SEC lawsuit is like that party guest who won’t leave.
But hey, if Trump was around, maybe we’d have an XRP ETF by now. I mean, the guy loved a good wall, maybe he’d love a good crypto fund too.
