In simpler terms, the main company behind the creators of Lies of P, known as Round 8 Studio, has revealed they are teaming up with Wolfeye Studios – a group made up of ex-developers from Arkane Studios.

According to the recent press announcement, NEOWIZ plans to reveal Wolfeye’s upcoming work – a throwback sci-fi action role-playing game that’s still in development.

Wolfeye Studios New Project Concept Art Unveiled

In the unveiling, Wolfeye and NEOWIZ have granted gamers a sneak preview into the latest design sketches for their forthcoming game. At this point, specifics about the game such as its name, launch date, and intended platforms remain undisclosed.

Regarding the partnership, both companies shared prepared statements.

Speaking about Seungchul Kim, co-CEO of NEOWIZ, he expresses, “Joining forces with the highly talented Wolfeye studio is a well-timed and tactical move for us. This collaboration underscores our dedication to creating exceptional story-driven games that captivate players globally on PC and console systems.

Raf Colantonio, as the Creative Director and President of Wolfeye Studios, expressed their intense enthusiasm for crafting a unique genre of game that combines Role-Playing Game (RPG), action, and simulation elements. For such games to thrive, he emphasized, it’s crucial that the publisher also harbors this same ardent passion.

Furthermore, Julien Roby, CEO and Executive Producer of Wolfeye Studios, expressed that they’ve found in NEOWIZ a partner who shares their vision and is equally dedicated to creating a distinctive, creative, and lasting game experience that will resonate with both loyal fans and newcomers.

Though Wolfeye Studios may not ring a bell for many, it’s important to note that both Colatonio and Roby have contributed to some well-known video games in the gaming community, such as the Dishonored series and the 2017 release of Prey.

The first game launched by the studio is an action role-playing game called Weird West, which became available on consoles and computers in 2022. Despite not being a major production, it garnered positive responses and received a “Strong” rating on Open Critic.

Regarding NEOWIZ, the action RPG “Lies of P” from the Soulslike genre is set to receive a premium expansion pack later this year. Additionally, it’s been confirmed that a sequel for the game is currently being developed.
