At present, the “One Piece” series is unfolding in the Elbaf storyline, and fans are finding it incredibly engaging. Even though it hasn’t reached the 20th chapter yet, this part of the narrative has been exceptionally captivating. With its extensive lore unveilings and intriguing character introductions, there’s no question that this arc is among the finest and will maintain delivering high-quality content in the same vein.
As we approach the 20th chapter of this arc, fans can expect the tension to build significantly. At first, Oda typically lays the groundwork for adventure in the early chapters, and the pace at which the story unfolds may seem slow. However, there’s an undeniable charm to it that keeps us hooked. Over time, Oda skillfully reveals intriguing plot points, and in Elbaf, he has already unveiled some groundbreaking storylines while also illuminating others. Given the current direction of Elbaf, it seems almost certain that this tale will lead to chaos within the land of the giants, possibly even resulting in its complete destruction, which appears to be Oda’s intention.
The Long Peace In Elbaf and The Arrival Of The Holy Knights

- The Country Of Elbaf Has Slowly Been Transforming
- The Holy Knights Are Here to Disrupt The Peace
In the realm of “One Piece”, Elbaf is infamously called the Land of War, a title that speaks volumes about its inhabitants. Being labeled as a land of war signifies that Elbaf is teeming with incredibly powerful individuals. Moreover, its global reputation as the most formidable nation on Earth implies they are a force to be taken seriously. However, as Shamrock Figarland once stated, Elbaf once controlled the entire New World, but seems to have lost its dominance over time, suggesting that the Giants’ land is gradually losing its former might. This development is indeed surprising and alarming to say the least.
The World Government will bring Elbaf to heel! — Shamrock Figarland
The intriguing motive revolves around Mother Carmel and King Harald, the noble ruler of Elbaf. It was Mother Carmel who proposed the concept of achieving peace through trade to the Giants. Initially, the Giants resisted this notion, but it appears they have since embraced it. Notably, King Harald, a renowned figure in Elbaf’s history, found himself captivated by these ideas and encouraged his country and people to adopt this approach. Additionally, there seems to be some connection between King Harald and the World Government, as suggested by the presence of a summoning circle in the Throne Room, where Shamrock Figarland made his appearance in the previous chapter of One Piece.

It appears that Harald had some form of agreement with the government, possibly explaining his later demise. Despite his death, Harald’s memory remains deeply respected among the Giants, and his ideals of kindness and peace continue to resonate. Interestingly, the future Giants of Elbaf are strongly against violence, and over time, they will transform significantly, leading to a decline in warrior culture. This shift towards peacefulness may make Elbaf more vulnerable, potentially allowing the World Government to exert greater influence.
How The Holy Knights Aim To Destroy Elbaf
The Plan Is To Take Over The Country
In the course of the series, it’s clear that the World Government seeks dominion over Elbaf. Their motivation stems from two key factors: firstly, they aim to seize the immense power wielded by the Giants; secondly, they wish to neutralize a significant threat that might challenge their authority in the future by gaining control of Elbaf. This is why Shamrock and Gunko visited Elbaf, and their objective was to recruit Loki to their cause, as this would facilitate their control over Elbaf more easily.
However, it’s clear that fans are aware that their attempt to recruit Loki on their side backfired in the last installment. Instead of joining the Celestial Dragons as they had planned, Loki refused the offer, forcing the Holy Knights to devise an alternate approach when confronting Elbaf.
Complete domination isn’t feasible at this moment. Let’s bring another ally to the realm of the Titans instead. – Shamrock Figarland
From what was suggested in earlier sections, it appears that the Holy Knights are seeking to expand their ranks with new members from Elbaf, and subsequently launch a campaign to capture the children of the land. This action will provide them with hostages, allowing them to exert pressure on the Giants of the country and manipulate them into unfavorable circumstances. However, those who defy the World Government are deemed enemies that must be eradicated. Consequently, their ultimate goal is to purge Elbaf.
I can’t help but wonder about the intriguing methods used by the World Government! You know, they have this unique strategy called the Native Hunting Games that they’ve successfully employed once before. It’s a competition held every three years, where a random nation is chosen as the target. The aim? To eliminate the population and claim the country for themselves!
Thirty-eight years ago, the Native Hunting Games took place in God Valley, ultimately leading to the infamous God Valley Incident. Now, rumors are swirling that Elbaf could be the next venue for this deadly game, with the objective of subjugation. If true, it sets up a thrilling plot twist that I can hardly wait to see unfold!
Will Luffy Save Elbaf From Destruction?
Luffy And Loki Need To Team Up Against The Threats
Without a shadow of a doubt, fans can rest assured that the land of Elbaf will never be erased. Unlike God Valley, Elbaf has a unique resilience and won’t suffer the same fate as it did 38 years ago. Back then, Roger and Garp united to vanquish Rocks, but the Native Hunting Games were unsuccessful. This is because God Valley was never part of any government, and now, it no longer exists. Instead, Elbaf has its own distinct dynamics that must be respected.
In this new phase, Luffy, his team, and the Giants will need to confront and defeat the Holy Knights of the World Government. If the decree for the destruction of God Valley arises, protecting the land from an Ancient Weapon might be necessary too. This storyline could turn out to be one of the most thrilling in One Piece, potentially shedding light on the old God Valley Incident, a event that transpired 38 years ago.
