Tiny Pasture: How to Switch to a Different Food

Tiny Pasture is an adorable idle game that sets a quaint farmscape at the foot of your computer screen. Your animals can be seen frolicking, dozing off, and occasionally dropping coins for you as you carry out your tasks. Being light on system resources, it won’t interfere with other activities while you work on your PC.

Although it falls under the category of idle games, you’ll occasionally need to handle a few aspects. For example, you’ll be required to clear out the Animal Droppings regularly to prevent your animals from falling ill. However, the crucial task involves providing them with Food regularly to maintain their hunger levels.

How Food Works in Tiny Pasture

When you acquire and nurture a virtual pet, it initially appears as a young one with half its energy stored (50% Fullness). To aid its development, you should feed it regularly until its energy level surpasses 60%. At this point, the timer indicating its growth to adulthood will start advancing. Once this progress bar is fully filled, your pet matures into an adult and begins accumulating coins for you.

Absolutely, once you’ve filled up your Fullness gauge, it will gradually decrease over time. If this gauge drops below 50%, the Earnings accumulator will temporarily stop, implying that your animals won’t produce any coins for you. To ensure a steady coin generation, you should regularly feed your animals.

At set times, the Cuckoo House Facility in Tiny Pasture provides food for your pets if you have sufficient coins on hand.

To view all the edible items at your disposal, make your way to the Shop and take a look in the Items section. By default, Carrots are offered, while additional Foods become accessible as you grow more farm animals into maturity. It’s advantageous to unlock these new Food items since they significantly increase your animal’s Satiety level. For instance, a Carrot offers 5 Satiety points, whereas Cheese provides an impressive 23!

How to Switch to a Different Food in Tiny Pasture

There are two ways to feed your animals in Tiny Pasture:

  • Using the Shop: Open the shop window, click on a food item you’ve unlocked, and place it in the pasture.
  • Using the Quick Access Box: Click the Arrow button on the right to open the Menu House, and click on the Food under your total Coins.

The Quick Access Menu serves as the swiftest method for providing food to your pets. Initially, only Carrots are pre-pinned on this menu, but once you expand your food options, it won’t change to a different food item automatically.

To change the Food in your Quick Access Box, follow these steps:

  • Open the Shop and go to the Items section.
  • Scroll down to the Food you want to use.
  • Click the small Pin button in the top-left corner of the food item.

Instead of a carrot, you can swap it with any food item of your preference, enabling you to promptly purchase it when your animals’ hunger levels get excessively low.

You can only have one Food item in the Quick Access Box at a time.

Ensuring that your livestock are adequately fed is crucial for the prosperity of your farm in a Small Paddock. Changing the Food option in your Speedy Storage keeps your animals satiated, enabling them to keep producing more coins for you.
