How To Complete Opus Magnum And Get The Secret Ending
In the game Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Opus Magnum represents the concluding side mission for Miller Kreyzl. This series of tasks is undertaken while you’re engaged in the main quest titled “Wedding Crashers”.
As an enthusiast, I’m thrilled about the initial assignment, codenamed ‘Materia Prima’. In this intriguing escapade, I’m tasked with sneaking into Troskowitz and pilfering a valuable letter hidden within a chest. This is an excellent opportunity for those aiming to hone their Thievery skills, like myself!
Once the task is done, you discover that the miller intends to construct a Golem, requiring a specific substance called saltpeter or nitre to animate it. This leads to your subsequent mission, titled “Forbidden Fruit.
After gathering several deceased animals for the gravedigger’s task and ultimately locating the hidden saltpeter mine, the miller announces that they still aren’t prepared to create the Golem.
Currently, he intends to describe to you a plot involving the theft of a confidential book belonging to Trosky. However, infiltrating the castle requires assistance, and to make Kreyzl’s scheme successful, you must identify an appropriate woman.
If you’re struggling to find the perfect lady for this role, or are having trouble deciding on the right outfit or fragrance for her, here’s a comprehensive guide to completing the Opus Magnum quest, designed to make your search easier.
How To Start Opus Magnum Quest In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

To begin your journey, you might want to approach Miller Kreyz first. Once you’ve shared the whereabouts of the saltpetre pit with him, he may start rambling about reconnecting with his past and how the saltpetre could aid him in producing primitive substance.
Henry is likely to feel puzzled and request clarification, then inquire about the upcoming task assigned to him by the miller.
To obtain the alchemist’s cookbook penned by Erazim, you must locate a woman capable of diverting the attention of Chamberlain Ulrich, thus gaining access to the castle for yourself.
He recommends visiting the Zhelejov Baths and speaking with Dorothy to locate the suitable woman. Additionally, obtaining her Mintha perfume and a red dress will help ensure she embodies the part of a lady.
Where To Find A Companion For Chamberlin Ulrich?
Hurry to the Zhelejov Baths, find Dorothy there, and inform her that Kreyzl is seeking a young woman to act as a noblewoman. Then, let Henry convey the miller’s proposition to Dorothy, who will then gather the ladies in response.
As a fan, I find myself in agreement with Dorothy’s viewpoint that none of the other girls are quite ready for the task at hand. Yet, she has graciously hinted that I might want to engage in conversation with the nomad girl instead.
From now on, look for a fresh marker labeled ‘D’ on your compass. To locate Enneleyn, head in the southwest direction by following this marker until you arrive at your destination.
Speak with Enneleyn about the position previously held by Kreyzl, extend this offer to her, and clarify that he wishes for her to become familiar with the chamberlain. Should she accept, you’ll need to provide her with a red dress and some perfume.
You can also agree to bring her some wine to increase your reputation with her.
Where To Find The Dress For Enneleyn?

As a gamer, I’ll zap myself over to Troskowitz and make a beeline straight for Tailor Bartoshek. In his section dedicated to alternate attire, I can splurge on the exquisite Tyrol Brocade Cothedardie gown, priced at 272.1 Groschen.
You always have the option to haggle over the price to get it for a cheaper price.
To cut costs, let the Tailor approach his rack of clothes. Then, stealthily slip behind the counter, attempting to pilfer the dress without him noticing. Remember to save your game prior, so you can revert if you’re discovered. If he continues to turn while you’re in the act, prepare to deal with the situation accordingly.
As I’m about to slip away with the enchanting gown, remember to grab some elegant attire for yourself too! Aim for pieces that boost your charm to 16 or above, my friend. Enjoy the shopping spree!
How To Get Mintha Perfume

Here are three options for acquiring the Mintha perfume: Firstly, you can purchase it from Innkeeper Betty; secondly, if stealth is your preference, consider picking her pocket when she’s asleep at night; lastly, you can attempt to brew it yourself.
If your expertise lies in stealing (or you’re particularly skilled at it), taking the perfume might be the most straightforward approach. Another possibility is purchasing the perfume’s formula from the alchemist.
To brew this perfume yourself you need:
- Dandelions x3
- Marigold x1
- Mint x1
Here is how you can make it:
- Go to the alchemy table and use wine as your base.
- Add 1 handful of mint and 3 handfuls of dandelion to the mortar, grind them and add the powder to the cauldron.
- Move the cauldron down and boil the mixture for 2 turns.
- Next, move the cauldron up, add 1 marigold to it and bring it back down.
- Now again boil the mixture for 1 turn.
- Grab a phial and distill the mixture.
In simpler terms, it’s not necessary to find the ideal perfume. Even if the blend turns out to be less potent, you can still utilize it for your purpose.
Go To The Wedding With Enneleyn
If you want to finish all the side quests in the game, it would be more advantageous to wrap up the Blacksmith’s storyline first. This includes The Blacksmith’s Son, The Jaunt, and The Hermit, as these missions transpire prior to the wedding. On the other hand, Opus Magnum has segments that unfold during the wedding and later on after it has concluded.
Put on garments that exude charm, afterward return to Enneleyn at the nomad encampment with the dress and fragrance prepared. Give her the things and allow some time for her to don them. Once she’s ready, we can proceed together.
Currently, your side missions, “Wedding Crashers” and “For Whom The Bells Tolls,” have been temporarily halted while you focus on finishing the primary quests.
Once I’ve wrapped up the last two adventures, I’ll finally have the freedom to explore the grand castle, starting with the quest titled “Back In The Saddle”. Additionally, I can pick up where I left off in the captivating puzzle game, Opus Magnum.
Where To Find The Scribe And The Alchemical Cookbook?

Head to the room where you gave a bribe to the guard using some meat, during the For Whom the Bells Tolls mission, then follow the quest marker up the stairs to locate the Scribe.
Approach Scribe Erazim with a friendly greeting, expressing my enthusiasm: “Hello there, Scribe Erazim! I’ve been wondering if I might be able to borrow a certain book of yours? I’m drawn to it because of some intriguing ideas it seems to contain.”
If he inquires about my interest, I’ll reply with sincerity: “Yes, indeed. It’s the unique thoughts and perspectives within that have caught my eye.”
Upon hearing this, if he informs me that Lord Nikvard is currently holding onto the book, I’ll patiently wait for its return, expressing understanding: “Ah, I see. Lord Nikvard has it now? No worries, I’m happy to wait for its return and delve into its pages myself.
Finish conversing with him and inform the Scribe I’ll search for Nikvard. The Scribe will advise you to speak with Bertha the cook, Regina the maid, and Hersh the servant for additional hints regarding his whereabouts.
“Exhaust” has been replaced with “finish conversing with him”, and “tell” has been changed to “inform”. Additionally, “Scribe” is now referred to as “the Scribe” for clarity, and I have used more straightforward terms such as “servant” for “hand”.
Find Out What Happened To Lord Nikvard
First off, I approached Cook Bertha, curious about whereabouts of Nikvard. She shared that it had been since the last concoction she prepared for him that she last caught sight of him.
Bertha is going to maintain the confidentiality of the secret, but you can either offer her something valuable to reveal the information or successfully deceive her during the skill check and falsely tell her that Nikvard is in the latrine near the training ground, below the watchtower. This is where she believes he must be hiding.
You may chat with Regina, our housekeeper, who will then request that you review a message Nikvard handed her. Following this ambiguous message, she will inform you that she spotted Nikvard in the Knight’s hall.
After some suspicion arises between us due to my mysterious nature, I must seek out Hersh, the hired hand. To alleviate his suspicions and reassure him of my true intentions, I need to obtain a symbol of trust – a sword. I’ve learned that a long wooden one can be found at the combat training ground.
As his faithful follower, I’d retrieve the sword at his request. He’d then confide in me that Nikvard desired Hersh to retrieve an item from beyond the castle walls. However, before Hersh could inquire about the object, Nikvard dashed away.
How To Get The Lightbringer’s Secret Book
As an avid player, I’ve found myself needing to advance the “Back in the Saddle” main quest all the way to the point where I can depart from Trosky, so I can eventually lay my hands on that elusive book.
Head to the Scribe and share with him the discovery you made concerning Nikvard, specifically that “‘The scroll ended up in the latrine’“. Then, use the direction indicated by the ‘M’ on your compass to locate Nikvard.
The book seems to be lying on the floor. After picking it up, your task would simply be to return it to Kreyzl.
How To Complete Opus Magnum And Get The Secret Ending
This journey has two distinct conclusions. If you want the standard ending, return to Miller Kreyzl and give him the book. He will instruct you to meet him at the Lair, where you can see for yourself what they’ve been secretly working on instead of the Golem.
Regarding the alternative ending, it’s important that you discuss with Bailiff Thrush about Kreyzl’s activities first. Before handing over the book to Miller, have a chat with the Bailiff for his advice. He might recommend gathering more proof on Kreyzl by continuing your current actions.
Once you’ve observed the events at the Lair, make your way back to the Bailiff and share all that you’ve witnessed with him. He’ll then gather a group of men and instruct you to guide them to the Lair so they can confront the Miller directly.
This ending concludes with Kreyzl, Bonnie, and Zinek getting hanged.
