BLACKROCK’S XRP SECRET IS OUT!
My dear, it’s simply too, too delicious! Nate Geraci, the president of The ETF Store, has spilled the tea on BlackRock’s plans for an XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF). And, darling, it’s all about timing! He claims that the financial giant will file for the XRP ETF once the Ripple-SEC lawsuit is settled.
Geraci also predicts that BlackRock’s Solana ETF proposal will be filed any day now. And, if that’s not enough, he thinks the financial titan will dip its toes into crypto index ETFs.
But, darling, it’s not just BlackRock that’s getting in on the action. Franklin Templeton, with its whopping $1.5 trillion in assets, has joined the XRP ETF party.
And, if you thought that was all, the SEC has postponed making a decision on Grayscale’s ETF filing. Oh, the drama!
But, my dears, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Samara Cohen, BlackRock’s chief information officer, said it would be “a while” before they launch more cryptocurrency ETFs. And, Jay Jacobs, the US head of thematic and active ETFs, claimed they’re focused on their existing offerings.
However, Geraci is not buying it. He thinks BlackRock will “fight” to keep up with the competition.
So, there you have it, my dears. BlackRock’s XRP secret is out! Will they file for the ETF or not? Only time will tell.
