‘We’re Cursed, Man’: HECZ Discusses OpTic Texas CDL Woes Following 0-15 Record

In a fresh video posted by Hector ‘HECZ’ Rodriguez, who is also the President at OpTic Texas, the ongoing struggle or predicament affecting the Call of Duty League team was delved into extensively. The 18-minute video provided a tour of the offices where OpTic Texas operates, with HECZ conversing with his team about the factors contributing to their poor performance recently, which includes a 0-15 map record in recent weeks.

It’s no surprise that there appears to be some issues at OpTic Texas considering they were crowned champions in the Call of Duty League just a few months ago, marking their first COD world championship since 2017.

OpTic is trying anything at this point.

‘I Think It’s This Room’

In a recent video, both members of OpTic Texas’ team, Dashy and Kenny, hinted at a possible “jinx” or bad luck associated with the room where they compete, as HECZ admitted to “cursing” it by performing a ritual known as “saging.” To further explain this mysterious act, he had inscribed the team’s motto, “Green Wall,” onto a whiteboard within the room to motivate his players.

Shotzzy proposed a move reminiscent of the past, implying that it might be beneficial for them to return to the previous office in Dallas, Texas where the team once resided.

I know what it is, bro – I know what it is. We need to go back to the Dallas office.

After taking a break for a couple of months, Pred concurred with Shotzzy.

Here’s the full video from HECZ:

HECZ strongly adhered to the belief that this was a curse, implying that the organization needed to explore ‘spiritual’ or ‘otherworldly’ remedies to eliminate the string of misfortunes plaguing their team.

Let’s delve into the mystery of this apparent hardship they’re experiencing. Despite their undeniable skills and the fact that they’ve demonstrated world-class performance, they’ve shown resilience in overcoming obstacles – so, what could possibly explain this tenacity?

Additionally, he looked back at his earlier statements, where he expressed that the present squad of OpTic’s Call of Duty team is the weakest they’ve ever fielded.

It seems both playfully and seriously, I expressed the view that this team is our absolute worst. However, as time goes on, it’s evident that despite their talents, there appears to be an underlying issue at play.

After wandering through the office, HECZ inquired about who had cast the curse on the company. Then, he veered off topic to discuss the highly anticipated ‘ring ceremony’ from COD Champs 2024, which has not yet occurred. He emphasized that regardless of their current performance, The Green Wall and OpTic Texas should have the opportunity to witness this event.

What do you think is wrong at OpTic Texas? Let me know in the comments.
