Steam players can get a free add-on for the game World of Tanks until May 28th. What’s unique about this free content is its design, which is based on the popular Warhammer 40,000 universe. This offer coincides with the Warhammer Skulls sale on Steam, where many Warhammer games are currently discounted. It’s a great opportunity for fans of the series!
Steam users who are also Warhammer fans have a few more offers to check out. Total War: Warhammer 3 and Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector are both free to play for a limited time, with those deals ending on May 25 and May 28, respectively. Steam is also giving away another Warhammer 40,000 game called Gladius – Relics of War with a 100% discount until May 28. And if that still is not enough, players can also download a themed DLC pack and keep it forever.

To enjoy the new Warhammer-themed content, you’ll need to have World of Tanks. Luckily, World of Tanks is free to download on Steam, so you won’t have to pay anything beyond the download time and acquiring the free content pack. However, if you’ve already gotten the Hues of Sanguine Pack directly from the game, you won’t be able to receive this new offer.
In World of Tanks, players compete against each other in different squadrons. So, it is basically a massively multiplayer vehicular combat game. Its warfare is tactical, and resource/crew management is a critical aspect of the gameplay. That is not to say that players cannot go flamboyant on the battlefield with flashy tank exteriors, though. In fact, most of the game’s popular tank skins lean toward realism, which makes the free Hues of Sanguine pack a particularly eye-catching option for players who do not mind being easier to spot.
Free Game Giveaways
If you enjoyed the free content from World of Tanks, you might also like the giveaway happening for AquaDream. This indie game is currently offering its ten-song soundtrack for free. And there’s another freebie on Steam: until May 27th, you can get Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 completely free! It has very positive reviews, with 90% of players recommending it.
