In Monster Hunter Wilds, you’ll come across a variety of things to gather. These range from materials obtained from monsters, scales from fish, berries picked from plants, and an abundance of endemic life that seems endless. To put it simply, there are just so many items! Additionally, each region within the game has its unique items, which can only be found in specific locations and serve various purposes.

The Large Goldenscale Vase is one of these items. Rare and dependent on the whims of the world to even appear, you have to be lucky for it to even appear. Here’s where you can expect to find it, and just what it’s used for once you finally do get your hands on it.

How To Get Large Goldenscale Vase

The Large Goldenscale Vase is a unique artifact found exclusively within the Iceshard Cliffs region. It shares a similar lineage with the Wyvernscale and Dragonscale Vases, but it’s much harder to come by. You can find common versions of these items at standard Ancient Relic collection spots. However, Large Goldenscale Vases are only obtainable from exceptional Ancient Relic gathering points.

During the Plenty and while a Remarkable Relic Emergence event occurs, these items will appear. Since this is entirely random, your best course of action is to simply wait in your tent at the Iceshard Cliffs until it eventually happens. Remember to always set the weather to Plenty each time. The game usually alerts you when the event begins, but be sure to check the Environment Overview tab on the map to confirm.

You can also check from here if the event is upcoming within the next hour. If not, simply rest until it is active or close to occurring.

Once the activity commences, the Remarkable Relics will show up as collection spots on your map. Navigate to the filters on your map and adjust them so only Collection Points are visible. Then, scroll to find the Remarkable Relic. You can also locate its position by choosing the ‘Remarkable Relic Emergence’ event on the map.

Uses For Large Goldenscale Vase

Once you’ve located some Large Goldenscale Vases, take them back to Suja and engage in Item Trading with Sekka using your newly-found rare items. She provides an array of valuable goods, including the elusive Scarred Scale and materials from monsters like Jin Dahaad.

There is no other use for Large Goldenscale Vases beyond selling them, though the items on offer for it are genuinely quite worth it. Just make sure to activate a Gathering Boost in the Iceshard Cliffs first to make sure you get double whatever you’re trading for. No point in letting all your hard work go to waste.
