A new LEGO set from the Botanicals collection was unexpectedly discovered online before its official announcement. Surprisingly, the preview wasn’t the result of leaks from industry sources or online detectives; LEGO accidentally revealed it themselves through an early update to their app.
LEGO’s Botanicals line, originally known as The Botanical Collection, has become one of the company’s most successful series since it launched in early 2021. These detailed floral sets are particularly good at attracting adults back to LEGO building, even after many years. LEGO is continuing to expand the line, with nine new sets released in the first half of 2024, including the Rocking Plants (11506), Tulip Bouquet (11501), Peace Lily (11504), Sunflower Bouquet (11502), and Magnolia Branches (11510).
LEGO Mobile App Casually Leaks Unannounced Gothic Bouquet Set
In late May 2026, a clear image of a new LEGO set, 11513 Dark Flowers, appeared online due to an accidental leak from within LEGO. While details were limited, the image included a message suggesting it’s designed to be combined with the 11514 Cosmos Flowers set, which was announced in early May but won’t be available until June. Given this compatibility and the upcoming release of Cosmos Flowers, it’s likely that 11513 Dark Flowers will also be released in June.
LEGO’s Upcoming 11514 Cosmos Flowers Set
A leaked image suggests LEGO is combining the 11513 Dark Flowers and 11514 Cosmos Flowers sets into a single, larger floral display. The 11514 Cosmos Flowers set has 171 pieces and is designed for ages 9 and up, while the Dark Flowers set appears to have around 600 pieces. Because of its more complex build, the combined set is expected to be marketed towards adults (18+). This isn’t unusual for LEGO’s Botanical Collection – the Sunflower sets also have different age ratings (8+ for 40524 Sunflowers and 18+ for 11502 Sunflower Bouquet).
The leaked LEGO Dark Flowers set has a striking, gothic-inspired botanical design. It uses LEGO’s signature floral building style, but with a richer, darker color scheme – think blacks, deep reds, plums, and forest greens. The arrangement features shiny black vase shapes, vibrant flowers, subtle accent blooms, and lush leaves, creating a more detailed and sophisticated look than many other LEGO flower sets. The flowers appear to be inspired by roses, dahlias, pansies, and others. While elements resembling cosmos, daisies, and hyacinths are also present, they likely belong to the separately announced Cosmos Flowers set rather than the Dark Flowers set.

So, it looks like the 11513 Cosmos Flowers set isn’t the only Botanical Collection set that’s still waiting to come out. I’m also hyped for the 11505 Woodland Mushrooms (it’s a more complex build with 806 pieces, aimed at ages 18+) and the 11511 Water Lilies (a smaller set with 259 pieces for ages 9+), but we’re both looking at a June 2026 release date right now. I’ve been hearing that some of the bigger, more important LEGO sets are getting delayed internally because of issues with production. It’s happened before, but it’s not super common for LEGO, so I’m a little worried about whether this will affect the more affordable sets too. Hopefully, they can sort things out without impacting everything else!
, as LEGO is understood to be grappling with production challenges behind the scenes.
