As Witch Hat Atelier continues to unravel the secrets of the Brimmed Caps and Qifrey’s past, it’s becoming apparent that this isn’t a typical fantasy anime – it’s a story with surprising depth and complexity.
Qifrey has a real potential to take over from Gojo as a popular character. It’s not because he’s simply a copy of Gojo, but because he offers a new and interesting perspective. Qifrey takes the typical ‘hero’ traits of Gojo and adds a darker, more complicated edge. This makes him ideal to appeal to modern audiences who enjoy characters with shades of gray.
