How To Get Married In Paralives

In Paralives, your Parafolks can get married by proposing and then running off to elope. Marriage is a relationship option that makes the game feel more realistic. You can propose directly through conversation – there are no extra steps or requirements beforehand.

How To Get Married In Paralives

In Paralives, Paras need a strong relationship before one can propose marriage. Building this connection happens through frequent conversations. As they interact, their relationship will develop through stages – starting as friends, then becoming love interests, and finally, lovers – which increases the chance the proposal is accepted.

At some point during the conversation, you’ll see a ‘Propose’ card. Tap it, and if the displayed percentage is good, your proposal will be accepted.

When two Parafolks become engaged, their relationship status will change in the game, and players will receive a notification about it.

One of the Para will go down on one knee and propose in a short, cute animation.

Currently, players in early access can deepen their characters’ relationship and then choose to elope to get married. This option is typically found on the ‘Discuss Relationship’ card, but requires the two characters to be exclusively dating first. Achieving a strong romantic connection and succeeding on a luck-based check will make this possible.

Unlike games like The Sims, there aren’t elaborate cutscenes for weddings. The only animation is a simple exchange of rings and heartfelt vows between the two Parafolks.

How To Increase Relationships In Paralives

In Paralives, building relationships means selecting positive conversation cards when interacting with other characters. Pink-colored cards indicate romantic options. However, whether these interactions succeed depends on both luck and how well the two characters know each other.

You start with a 20% chance, which you can improve by developing your relationship. The Storyteller will sometimes give you special cards during the conversation to boost specific relationship levels, such as friendships or romances.

Spend quality time with the person you’re interested in and do things together to build a connection and potentially start a romantic relationship. If you’re not already living together, inviting them to move in can also help you get closer and allow your families to interact more.
