What You Need Before Solving Every Gotham Village Cluemaster Puzzle

Most of the Cluemaster Puzzles in Gotham Village and Robinson Park become solvable once you collect a specific item. However, the ‘Buoyer Beware’ puzzle needs Nightwing to be unlocked – if you haven’t unlocked him yet, you’ll need to progress further in the story and come back later. Check out our guide on unlocking all characters for more information on timing.

To access the “Think It, Thank It, Thunk It” Puzzle Room, you first need to finish the six Cluemaster Puzzle Rooms located in Newtown, Old Gotham North, Old Gotham South, The Cauldron South, The Cauldron North, and East End. These rooms become available as you solve Cluemaster Puzzles throughout Gotham City. If you don’t see the Cluemaster Puzzle Room in Gotham Village, keep working on those puzzles – you haven’t unlocked it yet!

Buoyer Beware Cluemaster Puzzle Solution

  • Coordinates: 349, 754
  • Required Character: Batman, Nightwing

First, use the Batclaw to remove the cover from the device with the thick brown chain, exposing a connection point. Then, use Nightwing’s Electric Cable Launcher to connect to that point. Next, jump down and head to the right to find a movable electrical panel. Push the panel in front of the connection point you uncovered.

Use Nightwing’s Electric Cable Launcher to connect the device to the electrical device on the right. Then, connect the left side of that electrical device to another one located directly south. This will form a triangle shape and start the chain moving.

As the chain pulls away from the cube’s cage, use Nightwing’s Electrorang to cut one of the cables powering the device. This will stop the chain’s movement, allowing you to jump across the columns in the water and grab the cube.
