Jujutsu Kaisen: All Strongest End Of Series Sorcerers, Ranked

The manga series Jujutsu Kaisen finished its run in Weekly Shonen Jump on September 30, 2024. The final arc, focusing on the aftermath of Ryomen Sukuna’s defeat, brought major changes to the world of Jujutsu Sorcery. Throughout the story’s conclusion, many powerful sorcerers met their end.

Watching everything unfold in Jujutsu Kaisen, I’ve seen a huge power shift. Some sorcerers definitely got stronger, while others lost their abilities altogether. It’s clear the hierarchy of the most powerful characters looks completely different now than it did when the story started.

8. Nobara Kugisaki

  • Sorcerer Grade: Grade 3 (Skills Of Grade 1)

Nobara made a powerful return in Jujutsu Kaisen, quickly making a huge impact after rejoining the fight. She regained consciousness just in time to participate, and immediately used Sukuna’s finger in a technique called Resonance, severely weakening him. This crucial opening allowed Yuji to finally defeat the King of Curses.

Honestly, it’s a bit frustrating because we still don’t really know how much stronger Nobara has gotten! It’s possible she hasn’t even improved since the Shibuya incident, and if that’s true, she’d be one of the least powerful sorcerers we’ve seen lately. I’m really hoping she’s been training!

7. Hiromi Higuruma

  • Sorcerer Grade: Unknown

Hiromi Higuruma was a remarkable discovery during the Culling Game arc of Jujutsu Kaisen. He’s widely considered a once-in-a-generation talent, with the story explicitly stating he’s on the same level as Gojo Satoru. Though initially believed to have died fighting Sukuna, it was later revealed that his abilities allowed him to survive the battle against the incredibly powerful sorcerer.

By the series’ end, Higuruma had become a remarkably powerful sorcerer. He possessed a formidable Shikigami named Judgeman, a powerful Domain Expansion called Deadly Sentencing, and abilities like Reverse Cursed Technique and Domain Amplification, making him an incredibly dangerous opponent.

6. Megumi Fushiguro

  • Sorcerer Grade: Grade 2

Megumi Fushiguro is a remarkably powerful sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen, and his time sharing a body with Sukuna significantly increased his strength. By the series’ end, Megumi has improved control over his cursed spirits, thanks to Sukuna’s constant use of them. He’s also likely gained much greater mastery over his Domain Expansion, as Sukuna opened his domain inside Megumi’s body four or five times.

It’s also possible Megumi currently has access to the Shrine, though this hasn’t been confirmed. Regardless, fans recognize Megumi as an exceptionally strong sorcerer with the potential to become even more powerful.

5. Aoi Todo

  • Sorcerer Rank: Grade 1

Aoi Todo is an incredibly strong fighter, and even after losing an arm, he’s still a major threat. By the end of the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen, Todo has become even more powerful due to his unique ability, the Vibraslap. The Vibraslap involves a ball that vibrates extremely quickly – up to 50 times per second. Each vibration acts like a separate strike, which dramatically enhances his Boogie Woogie technique, allowing him to switch positions up to 50 times in a single second, making him exceptionally formidable.

Todo takes his already powerful technique to the next level with a Binding Vow. This vow lets him trade range for more swaps, or swaps for greater range. Currently, Todo is an incredibly dangerous opponent, and very few fighters have a chance against him with his current abilities.

4. Kinji Hakari

  • Sorcerer Grade: Unknown

Kinji Hakari is considered one of the most powerful sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen. Many thought he had the potential to become as strong as Gojo Satoru, but his performance during the battle against Sukuna was ultimately underwhelming.

His special technique, Private Pure Love Train, is exceptionally powerful, particularly when used within his Domain Expansion, Idle Death Gamble. During the 4 minutes and 11 seconds that the Domain is active, he’s nearly invincible, with unlimited cursed energy and the ability to recover from almost any injury – as long as he gets lucky. At his peak, he’s incredibly difficult to defeat. However, because he hasn’t demonstrated much power recently, a small number of opponents are capable of overcoming him.

3. Maki Zenin

  • Sorcerer Grade: Grade 4

During the intense battle in Shinjuku, Maki demonstrated incredible power, even fighting against Ryomen Sukuna himself. She likely became stronger than her father, Toji, at this point, proving her strength by stabbing Sukuna’s heart and withstanding two of his devastating Black Flash attacks. Importantly, the damage inflicted by her sword is unique – it harms the soul and cannot be healed by Reversed Cursed Technique.

Maki was unique in challenging Sukuna, forcing him to demonstrate whether Jujutsu was more powerful than raw strength. While she wasn’t as strong as even Sukuna’s weakest form overall, Maki was incredibly impressive in the recent arc and managed to briefly overpower him a few times.

2. Yuji Itadori

  • Sorcerer Grade: Special Grade (Post-War)

By the end of the series, Yuji Itadori became incredibly powerful, ultimately defeating Sukuna. He learned to use Simple Domain and gained the ability to manipulate blood after absorbing Death Paintings 4-9. Furthermore, he awakened Sukuna’s Shrine and developed his own Domain Expansion – a technique strong enough to defeat Sukuna himself by delivering a devastating attack directly to his soul.

1. Yuta Okkotsu

  • Sorcerer Grade: Special Grade

Following the intense Shinjuku Showdown Raid, Yuta Okkotsu is widely considered the most powerful jujutsu sorcerer. He’s a special case among sorcerers, largely due to his connection with Rika.

Yuta is incredibly powerful due to his ability to copy techniques. His Domain Expansion, Authentic Mutual Love, makes this even stronger, allowing him to use any copied technique repeatedly while active. The only catch is he doesn’t know which technique he’ll use when he attacks with a sword. With Rika supporting him, Yuta is a formidable opponent. He also possesses advanced skills like Reverse Cursed Technique, Domain Amplification, and Barrier Techniques comparable to Gojo. After briefly inhabiting Gojo’s body, Yuta also gained knowledge of Limitless, though it’s currently unclear if he can actually use it.
