Surprising New LEGO Game Has Leaked

A new LEGO game, reportedly called ‘LEGO Skylines,’ may be coming soon. A listing with the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea suggests Paradox Interactive will publish the game, which hasn’t been officially announced yet.

Paradox Interactive is a Swedish game company established in 1999. They’re famous for creating deep and complex strategy games like Crusader Kings, Europa Universalis, Victoria, Hearts of Iron, and Stellaris. Beyond their own in-house development, Paradox also publishes games from other talented studios, including Obsidian Entertainment, TaleWorlds, and Arrowhead, bringing a wide variety of gaming experiences to players.

LEGO Skylines Could Be Announced Soon

A new LEGO game, currently known as LEGO Skylines, recently appeared in a rating by the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee. While details are scarce, the game is published by Paradox Interactive, the company behind the Cities: Skylines series. This has led to speculation that LEGO Skylines could be a LEGO version of the popular city-building game. Gematsu first noticed the rating, which was issued on April 9th.

LEGO and Paradox Interactive haven’t officially announced a new LEGO city-building game, but it could be revealed soon – the game recently received an official rating. Summer Game Fest seems like a likely place for the announcement. LEGO has used the event to showcase new games before, like LEGO Party! and LEGO Voyagers last year. We might see LEGO Skylines revealed during the Summer Game Fest showcase on June 5th.

If you don’t see LEGO Skylines during the main SGF showcase, it might be featured at one of the other events happening around the same time. While it’s probably won’t be a major focus at Sony’s State of Play (June 2nd) or the Xbox Showcase (June 7th), keep an eye on the Future Games Show (June 6th) or the PC Gaming Show (June 7th). If it’s not revealed then, it could be unveiled at Gamescom in late August – LEGO used last year’s Gamescom to announce LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.

Persona 4: Revival and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Have Also Been Rated

Okay, so I was checking out the Korean game ratings, and it looks like they rated LEGO Skylines and Persona 4 Revival. We already knew Persona 4 Revival was happening, but a rating often means a release is getting closer, so that’s exciting! I also saw Gears of War: E-Day, Ace Combat 8, and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy on the list. The Guardians rating is really interesting – a lot of people are thinking that might mean it’s coming to the Switch 2, which would be awesome!
