In the early part of the 007 First Light game, you’ll encounter Murto, one of the villainous twins. Your confrontation with him takes place in a small warehouse, reminiscent of a similar battle between Abby and Ellie in The Last of Us Part 2.
Murto is incredibly strong and can’t be hurt by punches. Because you don’t have any weapons in this fight, you can’t shoot him either.
To defeat Murto, you’ll need to use the environment around you to inflict damage. If you’re struggling, this guide will walk you through the process of beating him in 007 First Light.
How to Beat Murto in 007 First Light

To beat Murto in 007 First Light, you need to use the environment against him. Hack three dangerous objects as he gets close – each one will take away a whole health bar.
Before you fight Murto, it’s important to understand a couple of things: First, punching him won’t do any damage. Second, he’s incredibly powerful and can defeat you with just two hits, so always stay behind cover as much as possible.
You can actually start damaging Murto immediately at the beginning of the fight, but it requires fast reflexes. As soon as the fight starts, Murto will walk towards the center of the warehouse, passing by the Floodlights. When he does, use the Blind hack to quickly reduce his health.
To hurt Murto, you need to use the ground Cargo Lifts. When he steps on one, activate it to shock him and take away a full health bar. Be careful – activate the lift from a safe distance so you don’t get hurt too!
While hiding, Murto will generally come towards where you are, often walking right over the Cargo Lift. You can make him approach faster by using the Lure ability – just press the up button on your D-pad.
Okay, so the Cargo Lifts really hurt Murto, but here’s the catch: he learns fast. After I used one on him just once, he started targeting them. Seriously, he’ll shoot and wreck any Cargo Lift he gets near. You gotta be careful and not rely on them too much after the first hit!
Because of this, we need to figure out a different way to hurt Murto. If you’ve done the previous two steps right, he should now only have a single hit point remaining.

To really hurt and finally defeat Murto, you should use one of the chandeliers. The easiest way to do this is to trick Murto into a corner with a chandelier above him, wait for him to be directly underneath it, and then choose the option to drop it on him.
Once you’ve struck Murto with three dangerous items found around the arena, he’ll fall and struggle to stand. Quickly approach him to trigger a final cutscene, ending the battle.
Okay, so after that crazy fight scene with Bond and Murto, I finally finished Murto off with a stake. Once he was down, the game let me get back to the main story – now I’m on the hunt for his brother!
