Police in Lake Park, Florida, have arrested a man accused of stealing $12,000 worth of Pokemon cards. The theft was unusual because the suspect reportedly used a chainsaw to break through the store’s hurricane-resistant windows. He’s been charged with burglary and grand theft.
Clayton Warren, 33, was arrested on May 21st after attempting to break into Collection Realm. The store owner contacted the sheriff’s office after reviewing security footage that showed Warren trying to smash the front window with a rock. When that didn’t work because the glass was reinforced and hurricane-proof, he used a chainsaw to force his way inside and stole approximately $12,000 worth of Pokemon cards, including individual cards in protective sleeves and larger sets.
