Pokémon GO is hosting a Community Day in June, featuring the Dragon/Ice-type Pokémon Frigibax, originally from the Paldea region. These Community Day events are popular with players because they offer special bonuses for a limited time, including a much better chance of finding the rare, Shiny version of the featured Pokémon.
The Pokémon GO Frigibax Community Day is happening on Saturday, June 20th, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in your local time. During these hours, you’ll find Frigibax appearing much more often, and it will be easier to find a Shiny Frigibax or one with a special pattern. If you evolve an Arctibax during the event (or within four hours after), the resulting Baxcalibur will know the special move Glaive Rush. You’ll also earn double Candy and triple Stardust for every Pokémon you catch. Players level 31 and above will have a greater chance of receiving XL Candy as well.
