How to Reach Ellis White in 007 First Light

In the James Bond game 007 First Light, your mission is to find Ellis White in Vietnam and attach a Q-Trak device to him with minimal help – luckily, you’ve got everything you need right here! This mission can be challenging, as there are three specific obstacles related to Ellis White that you’ll need to overcome.

This guide will show you where to find Ellis, how to beat all three of his challenges – Party Crasher, Blanc the Brut, and Key Master – and how to secretly deliver the Q-Trak to him, just like a real spy!

You’ll find a complete guide below, and we’ve also created a video showing how we located Ellis and finished all of his challenges.

How to Find Ellis in 007 First Light (Party Crasher Challenge Guide)

When you get to the resort, go down the stairs and continue southeast along the path. You’ll eventually reach the Ocean View Bar, which is guarded by two people.

After talking to the guards, two women will come and sit behind you. They have the party flyer you need, so briefly stun them with your Phone Dart or Laser Strap, quickly steal the flyer, and then go back to the guards to get into the party.

Completing this step unlocks the Party Crasher Challenge, but you’ll still have two more challenges to complete. Don’t forget the extra task of getting Ellis a drink, details for which are below.

How to Get the Ocean View Bar Key in 007 First Light (Blanc the Brut & Key Master Challenge Guide)

Once you’ve spoken to Ellis, your next job is to track down Jonty and get the bar keys. To start, simply walk up to the wine menu near the bar and take a look at it.

You can now talk to the bartender on the left. Choose the “order off the menu” option, and then either of the dialogue choices will appear. This will cause the bartender to step away and give you the Blanc the Brut challenge.

Now that the bartender is away, go behind the bar and through the doors. You’ll find yourself in a storage room, but two guards are blocking the path ahead.

Go to the red toolbox to find a hose you can turn on to create a distraction. While the guards are distracted, grab the keys and jump over the ledge. This will let you exit through the back door and get back to Jonty safely.

Successfully sneak in and get the keys to unlock the Key Master Challenge. Then, head over and serve Ellis a drink – that finishes the first step of the “Plant Q-Traks” mission.

How to Serve Ellis a Drink in 007 First Light

Go back to Ellis with Jonty, and you’ll be able to open the minibar and make Ellis a drink. You can choose from four different options, and it probably doesn’t matter which one you select. I personally made a Tequila Slammer because Ellis wanted something really strong.

After Ellis finishes the drink you give him, you’re free to go, and you’ll have successfully tracked one of your three targets. You can find guides detailing the other two targets and their unique challenges elsewhere.
