The last set of missions in the 007 First Light game, called ‘For England,’ has 15 challenges. Some of these can be pretty tough, so we’ve created a guide listing every challenge and explaining how to beat them. We’ve also included detailed walkthroughs for the hardest ones to help you out.

Here you’ll find solutions to all the challenges in the 007 First Light mission, ‘For England’. We’ve included simple strategies to help you complete every mission and earn the completionist badge, just like we did, until Bond’s next assignment.

For England Challenges Overview in 007 First Light

Challenge Description How to Complete
Pacifist: For England Complete “Lock, stock, and 1 trapped hostile” and “Bring a fist to a gun fight.” These are two challenges you’ll encounter both in the first section of the mission and in one of the last. We’ll walk you through both in their dedicated sections.
Ghost: For England Complete “Be Q-uiet” and “All smoke and mirrors”. These stealth-related encounters can be troublesome without a walkthrough to help you avoid soldiers without being seen, so you can find a walkthrough for both below.
Assault: For England Complete “Technomage” and “Untouchable”. These are two challenges related to combat encounters, and we’ll provide more in-depth guides below.
Lock, Stock, and 1 Trapped Hostile Lock one enemy in a holding cell. In the opening section of the mission, you’ll find prison cells, and you can interact with the door to lock them. There are two enemies on the right that will always enter cells, so wait for them to enter, then press the button.
The Great Escape Make your way through null space undetected. After witnessing the death of an M16 operative, you need to sneak to the exit. We have a full walkthrough below, but it’s easy if you open the first door on the left and crawl through the vent.
All Smoke and Mirrors Release smoke from the rafters in the security offices. In the security offices (after the null space), head left into the server room and take the ladder, then interact with the pipe system to release the smoke.
Apex Predator Defeat every enemy in the security room with a stealth takedown. This is easier than you think, because releasing the smoke means all enemies are blinded (but you’re not) so you can perform takedowns without them knowing you’re there.
Reduce Your Screen Time Shoot down 50 screens in the operations room. 50 screens isn’t actually a lot, and it’s made easy since the room is filled with enemies with guns. Take them out, then start blasting at the blue screens on your right until the challenge pops. Shotguns make this a breeze!
Untouchable Defeat the snipers without taking any damage. There are two snipers around the left bend in the operations room. Shoot the hanging light above the left sniper and the red pipe by the right sniper. However, you have to do this without being hit, which we have a walkthrough of below.
Bring a Fist to a Gun Fight Don’t use weapons during the lift showdown. After dropping down the elevator to THEIA, you will be slow-motion prompted to shoot someone. Don’t do it, instead, punch them and the other two enemies until they’re knocked out.
Be Q-uiet Make your way through Q-Lab undetected. You need to grab the Valhalla keys, deactivate the lockdown, and leave Q-Lab, without being seen. We have a walkthrough below, but it’s pretty easy with the Smoke Pod Gadget.
Technomage Kill 10 enemies with the Flash Mine in Q-Lab. Flash Mines are the teddy bears in Q-Lab, which explode when you shoot them with the Laser Strap. Lure enemies close to them, and shoot. There are multiple of these traps in Q-Lab, but try to lure more than one enemy.
Astonishing Kill 3 enemies wth one single explosion. It’s hard to mess this one up. When you take control of the car, just use the machine guns to shoot red barrels when enemies are close, and use the missiles when they’re grouped up.
Fire in the Hole! Use only proximity hacking to deplete Damien’s suit in the first phase. Stay close to Damien, and you can hack his suit, which causes an electrical pulse that deals immense damage.
Turret Aficionado Damage Damien with the first turret in under 2 minutes. Just run to the turret and use Smoke Pods for cover, and stay behind something if you’re injured until you reach the turret, then spam R2/RT once it’s hacked to shoot Damien.

How to Complete The Great Escape Challenge in 007 First Light

The area called ‘Null Space’ is at the beginning of the ‘For England’ section. You’ll need to be sneaky to get through it. While you can fight enemies, it’s not necessary because the route is simple. Check out our walkthrough above to see exactly how we did it.

Without a Q-Lens or Q-Watch, you’ll need to rely on careful timing and patience. Stay to the left, wait for enemies to move out of the way, and reach the exit before they see you.

How to Complete All Smoke and Mirrors and Apex Predator Challenges in 007 First Light

Both “All Smoke and Mirrors” and “Apex Predator” are connected, and the walkthrough above explains how we successfully finished both challenges.

If you start in the security offices, immediately look left for the server room and deal with the guard inside. Then, turn right and climb the ladder to reach a valve in the ceiling. Activating this valve will fill the area with smoke, creating a distraction. While enemies are obscured by the smoke, you can approach and eliminate them without being detected.

How to Complete the Untouchable Challenge in 007 First Light

To complete the “Untouchable” challenge, you must beat the two snipers without getting hit – not just by them, but by any enemy in the level. The best approach is to use stealth, then quickly use your Focus ability to get off two shots before anyone notices you and starts firing back.

How to Complete the Be Q-uiet Challenge in 007 First Light

Once you get to the Q-Lab, pick up the Valhalla keys from the wardrobe. Then, cancel the lockdown in the middle of the room, and exit through the garage. It’s packed with enemies, but your improved Q-Watch will be a big help – you can hack everything and use Smoke Pods for quick cover.
