Every Game With Spider-Man Noir

You can watch Nicolas Cage’s animated series, Spider-Noir, on MGM+ or Amazon Prime Video, depending on where you live. While Cage also voices the character in the Into the Spider-Verse films, this series is separate from those movies and the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe. That might seem unusual, but it means you can enjoy the show even if you haven’t seen anything else related to Spider-Man. If you’re looking for even more Spider-Noir content, there are also video games available.

While the unique hero from Earth-90214 doesn’t star in many comic books, his distinctive look shows up frequently as a playable skin or suit in various Spider-Man games – which makes sense, given how memorable his costume is. If you’ve ever wanted to play as Nicolas Cage, you’ll find several games that let you do just that, with plenty of different options available.

Games With Spider-Noir As A Playable Character

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

The Quintessential Spider-Man Noir Game

Let’s start with the most well-known example: Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. While not the only game to feature Spider-Man Noir, this 2010 title gives him a particularly significant role, making him a co-lead character. The game is divided between four different universes and Spider-Men, and each version gets three levels of gameplay, with each universe offering a unique style of play.

Spider-Noir focuses on stealth, relying on shadows to stay hidden. He felt like a perfect fit for his own video game, especially one set in the gritty 1930s New York he calls home. While that game never happened, his appearance in Shattered Dimensions remains the ultimate Noir experience and one of the best Spider-Man games ever made.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2

Of Course, Lego Spider-Noir Exists

Another great game features Spider-Noir as a playable character. Given that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 includes a huge number of characters, it’s not too shocking to see this classic version of Peter Parker included. He’s just one of many Spider-People you can play as, but Traveller’s Tales did a good job giving Spider-Man Noir a unique personality, making him feel like more than just a recolored version of the regular Spider-Man.

In level 9, “Noir Night-Mayor,” players get to experience a bit of Spider-Man Noir’s story. While it’s a short section, it features a cool sepia-toned look, a battle against Kingpin, and unlocks new characters, including Spider-Man Noir himself.

Marvel Snap

Well, Kind Of… Spider-Man Noir Has A Card

Does this count? Honestly, I’m not sure if this one counts.

The card game Marvel Snap includes a playable Spider-Man Noir, meaning you can add his card to your deck. His ability is a bit tricky to activate: it sets the power of the top card of your deck to 8, but only if the total cost of your other cards in play is exactly 8. I haven’t played Marvel Snap recently, so I can’t say for sure how effective this card is in competitive play. However, based on what I’ve seen, it doesn’t seem to be a very popular or powerful card.

I found the Spider-Man Noir card listed on a fan database, but I checked my account and don’t currently own it.

Defunct Games With Spider-Noir Representation

Spider-Man Noir was a playable character in several Marvel games, including Avengers Alliance, Spider-Man Unlimited, and Marvel Super Hero Squad Online. While these games are no longer officially available, players can still access Spider-Man Unlimited and Marvel Super Hero Squad Online through unofficial means like fan-run servers or workarounds.

The Best Games With The Spider-Man Noir Costume

Marvel’s Spider-Man

The Ultimate Love Letter To Peter Parker Pays Tribute To Comic Noir

Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man is likely the best Spider-Man game ever made. It excels in its story, world design, fighting, and especially how fun it is to swing around the city. While the optional side activities aren’t the most exciting, the main story provides around 25 hours of amazing gameplay. The game successfully creates its own identity while still honoring the classic Spider-Man comics and Peter Parker’s history, with over 40 unlockable costumes referencing those stories.

You can unlock the Noir Suit after finishing mission 5, so it’s available pretty early in the game. While it’s based on the classic Spider-Man Noir comic book design, it mostly resembles the version from the Shattered Dimensions game. This makes sense, as many players are likely more familiar with that particular look.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

The Into The Spider-Verse Noir Suit

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 doubled down on everything from the first game – offering two characters to play as, various suit forms, and a much larger world to explore. This approach also applied to the game’s costumes, with over 65 available in the main game and 90 total when including the downloadable content. Inspired by the look of the Spider-Man suit in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the developers chose that design over options from the comics or previous games.

The suit comes with a trench coat and fedora, and even includes an animation effect that recreates the character’s unique, jerky movements from the movie, making it a standout costume in Spider-Man 2. Unfortunately, it won’t change Peter Parker’s voice to sound like Nicolas Cage, though.

Fortnite

The Spider-Gang Is In Fortnite… Naturally

If you’re interested in seeing Nicolas Cage in a video game, you can find him as a playable survivor in Dead by Daylight. It’s a bit surprising that Fortnite doesn’t have a Nicolas Cage skin itself, and instead focuses on skins based on the characters he’s played.

Spider-Man Noir first appeared as part of the Spider-Gang Bundle for Across the Spider-Verse in December 2024 and was available in stores until February 28, 2025. He hasn’t been offered again since, but it’s likely he’ll return when the third animated Spider-Verse movie is released. The skin itself looks great, closely resembling the character’s design from the films.
