Rewards for Completing Mina’s Grave
Mina the Hollower is already known for being a tough game, but one player has created an even more brutal challenge. They’re attempting to beat it without any healing, starting with a nearly empty health bar that’s constantly decreasing, and while being harassed by enemies who treat them like a monster. It’s a truly punishing experience.

So, we’ve created this short guide to help you tackle one of the game’s toughest challenges!
How to Find Mina’s Grave
To solve this problem, you first need to have at least three Spark slots. You can get these by finding Spark Containers either from merchants or while exploring the world.
After you’ve started, head to the Eastern Heath, the wild area just east of Ossex. Continue east along the main path until you reach Mourner’s Mile, a gloomy graveyard filled with goblins and knights. When you see a knight guarding a crypt, turn left and follow the path heading north, just above another knight.
You’ll soon encounter another armored guard on this narrow path. Defeat him quickly, then head up the stone stairs, paying attention to the left side of the screen. You’ll see a weapon upgrade, a dangerous pit, and a checkpoint across a gap. Just before the checkpoint is a sealed barrier that requires three Sparks to open. Use your Sparks to break the seal, and you’ll enter a hidden area where you can find Mina’s grave.
Preparation & Strategy to Complete Mina’s Grave
Okay, so when you touch the stone, it tells you to lie down, and that kicks off this really trippy dream sequence. But it quickly turns into a total nightmare! As soon as you start controlling Mina in the dream, you realize you’re super vulnerable – basically, you have almost no health and no Sparks. That means even a tiny scratch will instantly kill you and force you to start the whole challenge over from the beginning. It’s seriously unforgiving!
To avoid problems, it’s best to make sure your character’s stats are good before resting. Specifically, try to get Mina’s Attack to at least Level 9 and her Defense to at least Level 6 – this will make things much easier.
For this challenge, the best weapons to use are the Nightstar, a chained mace that lets you hit enemies from a distance, and the Guardian Casket, a strong shield that pushes enemies back when you block attacks. These are incredibly helpful because mistakes are severely punished, and you’ll constantly lose health, so quick reactions and smart positioning are essential.
When you’re ready to face the challenge, proceed slowly and carefully. In the first hallway, defeat the red crow before continuing. In the next room, eliminate the mummies from right to left, saving the one furthest to the left for last – it’s the most difficult to hit. Position yourself directly in line with it and attack repeatedly until its upper body breaks off. As soon as it splits apart, immediately run backward to create distance (the remaining torso will chase you), then finish it off. After that, head left to find a hidden Plasma Vial. Use it to restore your health, then return to the main path and follow the lower route.
Okay, so there’s this enemy just hanging out to my right. If I talk to him, he gives me some weird clues. After that, I need to sneak around the bottom of this area to take down a horned beast that’s walking around on patrol. Luckily, that Plasma Vial I grabbed earlier gave me some extra health, which is good because I’m constantly losing life. I really need to focus on dodging and not getting hit, even with the health boost!
Keep moving forward on the lower path until you find a group of goblins. Stay calm and focused during the fight – don’t let panic mess up your attacks. At the end of the hallway, you’ll meet a strange character who speaks in riddles. After their speech, use your burrowing skill to get under the iron fence. Defeat the enemies nearby to get another Plasma Vial, but save it for when you’re critically low on health – don’t use it unless you absolutely have to.
As you move into the last section of the north area, you’ll face a final wave of enemies – red crows, goblins, and a powerful horned beast. After defeating them all and clearing the arena, enter the run-down house – it’s based on a real burial site. Go to the eerie version of Mina’s Grave and choose to lie down one last time.
Rewards for Completing Mina’s Grave
When you touch the grave within the dream, Mina will immediately wake up in Ossex. Successfully completing this difficult challenge will grant you two valuable items found near the monument.

When you open a new treasure chest, you’ll immediately get some Bonestone Flakes and a Starving Beastium Trinket. The Starving Beastium is a special item that changes how you play: using a Plasma Vial will quickly fill your Joules meter, but it won’t restore as much health. This makes it a great choice if you rely heavily on your Subweapon!
