As a devoted fan of Showtime’s hit series “Yellowjackets,” I’ve poured countless hours into replicating the show’s captivating characters within the vibrant world of “The Sims 4.” It’s astonishing how closely some of these creations mirror their real-life counterparts. In “The Sims 4,” players are granted the freedom to sculpt their dream character, with eight distinct life stages to explore. The game offers a plethora of facial and bodily features to customize, allowing pop culture enthusiasts like myself to bring any character we fancy to life as a Sim, complete with the iconic Simlish dialogue.

Initially airing in 2021, the series “Yellowjackets” has completed a total of three seasons to date. The story revolves around a girls’ soccer team who find themselves stranded in the wilderness following a tragic plane crash, and their struggle for survival is portrayed alongside glimpses into their adult lives. With its current surge in popularity, an enthusiastic fan of “Yellowjackets” has replicated the pit girl trap from the show within Minecraft, demonstrating the gaming community’s enthusiasm for this supernatural thriller.

Just like that awesome player who made Charmed characters, I’ve recreated some of the main characters from the show, but as younger versions. You’ll find Sophie Thatcher’s Natalie, Sophie Nélisse and Ella Purnell as Shauna and Jackie, Courtney Eaton as antler-wearing Lottie, Liv Hewson’s Van, and Misty played by Samantha Hanratty. The Sims 4 Player Creates Yellowjackets Characters Natalie, Jackie, Van, Misty, and More

In The Sims 4, the character creator is exceptionally flexible with few restrictions, leaving many in the TikTok community amazed by the resemblance of a character named Misty. Even the actor, Hanratty, was impressed by the creations, labeling them as “so good.” Another user speculated that star Thatcher might become overly enthusiastic, given her known fondness for The Sims. Furthermore, one enthusiast shared that they had crafted Van and Taissa in the game, providing them a life they deserved in a rustic woodland cabin.

Since its initial release in 2000, The Sims 4 has been the preferred life simulation game. However, its dominance was recently challenged by InZOI, a new offering from publisher Krafton. In 2025, their response to The Sims was characters known as “Zoi.” The gameplay showcased a bustling open world with mechanics similar to those in Maxis’ creation. A third competitor, Paralives, is soon to enter the fray in the life simulation genre, but despite the growth of this genre year by year, it is likely that The Sims 4 will continue to hold a special place in gamers’ hearts due to nostalgia.
