A Japanese Firm Snaps Up A Bargain!

While the new entrants were busy making headlines, our existing Bitcoin aficionados were not to be outdone. The Japanese investment firm Metaplanet, in a move of pure genius, announced on April 14 that they had purchased an additional 319 BTC at an average price of 11.8 million yen (about $82,770) per coin. A veritable steal, wouldn’t you agree?

This latest acquisition brings Metaplanet’s total Bitcoin holdings to a very impressive 4,525 BTC, currently valued at approximately $383.2 million. The company has spent nearly $406 million building its crypto pile. One wonders if they have a vault big enough to contain it all. 💰
