Life simulation games are known for letting players do almost anything, and that can sometimes result in unpredictable situations. While some people enjoy carefully crafting beautiful homes and successful lives for their characters, others prefer to create amusingly chaotic or even mischievous scenarios.
Yes, you can kill a Sim in Paralives, but it’s not a straightforward process. We’ll walk you through how to do it and the different methods available.
All Death Types in Paralives Overview
Here are all the ways you can kill your Parafolks in Paralives:
- Death by Fire
- Death by Starvation
- Death by Exhaustion
- Death by Poisoning
- Death by Old Age.
How to Kill a Para in Paralives
Death by Fire
In Paralives, one of the simplest ways to cause a Para’s death is through fire. Simply have them attempt a difficult recipe in the kitchen, and it won’t be long before something goes wrong and a fire breaks out.
From there, all you have to do is let the fire spread. Your Para won’t survive for long.
Death by Starvation
Parasites need food to live. If they don’t eat for a while, their hunger will increase until it becomes a major issue.
To eliminate a para by starvation, simply stop providing it with food. Even when its hunger indicator is completely depleted, avoid giving it anything to eat. Eventually, after a sufficient amount of time, the para will die of hunger.
To quickly reduce a character’s hunger, you can use the command DECAYNEED HUNGER followed by a number. This immediately lowers their hunger level by that amount. For instance, the command DECAYNEED HUNGER 4 will decrease their hunger by four bars.
Death by Exhaustion
Sleep is an important need in Paralives, and constantly ignoring it can have serious consequences.
As a fan of strategy, I’ve learned that if you want to defeat a paranormal being through exhaustion, the key is relentless pressure. Basically, you have to keep them awake – don’t let them rest at all. They’ll start getting really uncomfortable as their need for sleep builds up, and if you keep it up long enough, it can actually be fatal. It’s a tough tactic, but it can work if you’re determined!
Players who want a quicker result can use the cheat DECAYNEED SLEEP (number).
Death by Poisoning
You might spot mushrooms growing along roadsides, but it’s important to remember that not all of them are edible or harmless.
Certain mushrooms are poisonous, and if a dog eats a harmful one, it can become very sick quickly. Thankfully, it usually takes more than just one mushroom to cause serious problems, so a single bite isn’t typically fatal.
Death by Old Age
Taking care of Parafolks requires a long-term commitment, as they don’t have a fixed lifespan and can live for many years. However, like all living things, they eventually succumb to old age.
I’ve noticed paras can live for about 100 years in the game. If you don’t want to wait that long, there’s a shortcut called NEXTLIFESTAGE. It lets you quickly age up your para.
