BTC To The Moon?! (Maybe, Probably Not)

So, this crypto “analyst,” right? Michaël van de Poppe 🙄, and I’m supposed to care what he thinks? He’s got 783,300 followers… probably bots. Anyway, he *believes* Bitcoin will hit all-time highs. Big deal. Everyone *believes* something. I believe I’m going to find a decent cup of coffee in this town, but that hasn’t happened yet.

Apparently, it all hinges on Trump’s tariffs and the Fed. Tariffs! As if *that’s* going to solve anything. And the Fed? Don’t even get me started. It’s all just a big, complicated mess. 🤷‍♂️

“Bitcoin is still stuck in a range, which it has been acting in for basically two months. The longer something stays within a narrow range, the heavier the impulse will be once it breaks out of it. I assume that we’ll see light at the end of the tunnel with the FED/tariffs and that Bitcoin will fast rally towards new all-time highs in this quarter.”

Light at the end of the tunnel? Please. It’s probably just another train coming. 🚂

And now, he’s predicting Bitcoin will outperform gold. Gold! You can actually *hold* gold. What are you gonna do with Bitcoin, print it out? Oh wait…

“Quite frankly, if you’d ask me to choose between BTC or gold for the next 12 months, I’d almost always take Bitcoin as I assume that will be, percent-wise, substantially higher than gold. If you put it wider, if I had another $1,000 available, I’d rather want to put it in ETH.”

He’d rather put it in ETH? Well, good for him. I’d rather have a pastrami on rye. 🥪

He says the bull run will catch people off guard because they’re worried about a recession. Newsflash: people are *always* worried about a recession. It’s like the weather; always something to complain about. 🌧️

“It’s the final shakeout where a big majority believes we’re in a recession and early-peak top for Bitcoin. And then the big run comes.”

The big run? More like a slow, painful jog. 🏃‍♂️

Bitcoin is trading for $84,576. Flat on the day. Sounds about right. It’s always something, isn’t it? 🤦‍♂️
