The Champion will apparently be more involved in the story this time, even acting as an early obstacle for the player. A central Pokémon, nicknamed the “Seed Pokémon,” is expected to be a key part of the plot, possibly taking on a role similar to a third Legendary Pokémon. The leaks also suggest a powerful corporation will be pulling the strings behind the main villains, hoping to capture the Seed Pokémon and control the weather.
