Asha Sharma, the CEO of Xbox, has responded to criticism from fans regarding the company’s decision to include third-party logos in its showcase presentations. She suggested that future Xbox events might go back to the traditional practice of not displaying logos from competitors like PlayStation and Nintendo.
Future Xbox Shows May ‘Adjust’ Their Third-Party Logo Policies
On May 30th, Sharma responded to criticism about the recent Xbox logos in a short post on X (formerly Twitter). She acknowledged the mistake, saying, “It was a miss, and I own it.” Sharma also stated that Xbox leaders are now discussing how to improve future events, though she didn’t say when these changes might happen or if they would be in place for the June 2026 Xbox Games Showcase.
We received feedback on the logos, and it wasn’t great – I take full responsibility. We’re now discussing how to improve things for future Xbox events.
