Some enthusiastic fans of World of Warcraft have uncovered hidden audio files suggesting a fourth, undisclosed Lorewalking storyline focusing on the Blood Elves of Quel’thalas. Although it’s unlikely to debut alongside the initial release, players of World of Warcraft may look forward to encountering this storyline in an upcoming update of The War Within, possibly even during Midnight.
In the upcoming World of Warcraft Patch 11.1.7, players will encounter a fresh leveling adventure known as “Lorewalking.” This innovative experience offers a carefully crafted journey through the rich lore of significant characters, cultures, and historical events within the game. The launch of this feature in Patch 11.1.7 introduces three questlines: Xal’atath, Ethereals, and the Lich King.
It has been uncovered by players that a fourth Lorewalking storyline may be on its way in World of Warcraft. By delving into the files of the Patch 11.1.7 Public Test Realm and conducting data mining, well-known WoW content creator MrGM found more than two and a half minutes worth of dialogue from Lorewalker Cho, the Pandaren storyteller for this new addition voiced by Jim Cummings. This conversation touches upon much of the Blood Elf history, beginning with their expulsion from Kalimdor and continuing through the establishment of Quel’thalas, the Scourge invasion, Kael’thas’ deal with Kil’jaeden, and the revival of the Sunwell.
Unreleased Elf Lorewalking Story in WoW Patch 11.1.7
Earlier findings by Wowhead revealed Cho’s narration script and an UI picture showcasing Lor’themar Theron and Magister Umbric, notable figures among the Blood and Void Elves. This dialogue recording indicates that this storyline is actively being developed further. Additionally, Umbric’s appearance in the discovered image hints at a continuation of the questline, picking up where Cho’s tale concluded, exploring the origins of the Void Elves.
Although an exact release date hasn’t been announced yet, it’s reasonable to anticipate that this storyline will drop sometime this year, potentially in one of the updates leading up to Midnight. The expansion takes players back to a refurbished Quel’thalas, making the upcoming months an ideal opportunity to refresh fans on the region’s significant historical events. Additionally, it’s plausible that World of Warcraft might leverage upgraded assets from the zone renovations when designing new quests for the narrative.
In the upcoming update, version 11.1.7 of World of Warcraft, there’s a wealth of new content besides just Lorewalking. This includes a storyline in the Arathi Highlands, Timewalking events from Battle for Azeroth, and a fresh method for all classes to recuperate themselves. The release date isn’t set in stone yet, but predictions based on the PTR schedule indicate that June 17th or 24th are the top contenders for when it will be available.
