July 8 is Going To Be a Big Day for Hearthstone Fans

In an official announcement, Hearthstone unveiled “The Lost City of Un’Goro,” a fresh expansion that introduces Map cards, the Kindred ability, and the reemergence of Quests. Starting July 8, players will journey back to the Un’Goro Crater with this new Hearthstone card collection. Currently, two cards from the expansion are available for free in the shop for eager players.

Previously referred to as “The Shrouded City,” the second expansion for Hearthstone’s Year of the Raptor was unveiled during the Warcraft Direct last year. This set will transport players back to the environment seen in Journey to Un’Goro, a 2017 expansion for Hearthstone.

Currently, Hearthstone has unveiled their latest expansion, which comes with a fresh The Lost City of Un’Goro. This 145-card deck delves into the primal zone of Un’Goro Crater in World of Warcraft to unearth a hidden Tortollan metropolis nestled within Fire Mountain. Enthusiasts can gather updated renditions of characters they recognize, such as Elise the Navigator and Endbringer Umbra, along with newcomers like Loh, an acclaimed Tortollan explorer, and Niri, a Gnome Hunter who calls the crater her home. The set promises a wild abundance of untamed elementals, Titan ruins and experiments, as well as dinosaurs in their natural habitat.

In a new twist, cards incorporating the Kindred keyword will gain extra abilities if another card of the same minion type or spell category was played the turn before. This mechanic has been utilized with Elementals in previous expansions. Furthermore, there are six Map cards that enable players to draw one card initially, and select a second one if they play the first on the same turn. Additionally, new Legendary Quests will be introduced for each class, such as the Death Knight’s Reanimate the Terror quest, which focuses on corpses. Furthermore, seven Story cards will be available, reminiscent of the rewards from the original Quests in Hearthstone’s Journey to Un’Goro expansion, like the Hunter’s Story of Carnassa.

Before the release of The Lost City of Un’Goro set on July 8th, players have the opportunity to buy two different bundles for Hearthstone. For $50, you can purchase the Standard Bundle which contains 60 card packs, two random Legendaries, and the Spiritsinger Umbra card back. If you’re looking for more, there’s also the Mega Bundle available for $80 that comes with 80 normal packs, 10 Golden packs, one random normal and Golden Legendary each, four Tavern Tickets for Hearthstone Arena, Spiritsinger Umbra card back, Warlock Hero Skin, and if you buy both bundles, you can then upgrade to the $60 Sequence Bundle which gives an additional 30 normal packs, 10 Golden packs, and two random Signature Legendary cards.

Instead of waiting till July, enthusiasts can start acquiring cards from the set immediately!
