The seventh episode of ‘Bosch: Legacy’ opens in a courtroom, where a hearing is underway for The People vs Diego Para. Honey Chandler, now serving as the lead prosecutor, declares that the district attorney’s office will be charging Para with six counts of armed robbery, not murder. Reporters are gathered outside the courthouse, grilling Chandler about the lack of a murder charge, but she tactfully avoids answering and departs. Meanwhile, Harry Bosch and Maurice ‘Mo’ Bassi delve into the Finbar McShane case, simultaneously plotting to reconstruct Jimmy Robertson’s movements in an effort to solve his unsolved murder. Simultaneously, Chandler receives a call from the police chief and reaffirms her commitment to achieving true justice for Robertson.

In the sixth episode of “Bosch: Legacy”, it was revealed that Denise Vasquez’s nephew Albert might be connected to a series of home robberies. This revelation prompted Denise to confront Albert about his possible involvement, which he denied. She urged him to confess, informing him that there was evidence showing Nestor attempting to sell a watch that had been stolen from one of the robberies.

Meanwhile, Bosch inquired from Shaz if Robertson had any plans after finishing his drink on the night he was murdered, but she maintained that he intended to head straight home. However, while going through Robertson’s belongings, Bosch found an address for a garage in one of his pockets. He then joined forces with DEA agent Charlie, who confirmed that Robertson had been working on a case with the DEA.

Later, Bosch reached out to Perry Lopez (Miles Gaston Villanueva) to inquire about the cases Robertson was investigating prior to his death. Lopez disclosed that Robertson was looking into a body dump site in south LA, though he mentioned that the case files were under lock and key. Nevertheless, he agreed to look into it further.

‘You have to decide how much of the gray you’re willing to live in’

Bosch talks with Charlie and learns that Robertson inquired about a drug called The Black Ice, fentanyl, and its connection to the body discovered in South LA from his DEA contact. Bosch hypothesizes to Chandler that Robertson might have met someone at the taco truck, got set up, and was deliberately targeted. When Chandler wonders if this implies a cartel link, Bosch thinks it could be possible. However, their discussion is cut short by a call informing Chandler that the DNA on the bullets from Robertson’s case matches an ongoing investigation. Could it just be a coincidence?

No chance. This was a hit. This is sicarios.
