Instead of the calendar system in the original game, they’ve introduced an expendable energy system that can be replenished over time or with in-game currency.
What makes “Persona 5: The Phantom X” unique is the battle summons of the original Phantom Thieves from Persona 5, which are obtained through a gacha system. However, it’s worth noting that while the original Persona series hails from Japan, the game hasn’t been launched in its country of origin yet.

Translating the game’s text takes time, and whether or not it gets an English-language dub remains to be seen – if so, that could push back its release even further. Fingers crossed that we’ll get some clarity soon, but it looks like we might have to wait until 2026 for a Western release of Persona 5: The Phantom X.
It seems like Persona 5: The Phantom X is poised for a prosperous journey, as the developers appear to be addressing the suggestions from beta testers thoughtfully.
