DOGE price jumps 9%

The price of DOGE has been climbing steadily since hitting a low of $0.167. Dogecoin experienced a surge of up to 9%, but later gave back some of its gains. The cryptocurrency rose by 3.35% over the past 24 hours, reaching a high of $0.21 during the day. If DOGE ends the day with a positive balance, it will mark the third consecutive day of growth.

Based on IntoTheBlock’s report, the combined worth of meme coins has approximately tripled in 2024. Dogecoin alone has doubled in price this year. The surge in popularity for meme coins, referred to as the “meme coin craze,” has boosted their total valuation beyond $56 billion. In the previous quarter, there was a significant increase in the demand for meme coins, reaching its highest level since 2021.
