TON Society, HumanCode introduce $5 million palm-scanning program
At the Hong Kong Web3 Festival onward, TON Society – a network of groups advancing TON‘s future – announced a prolonged partnership with HumanCode, an AI firm.
To spread the word about this collaboration within the TON community, TON Society is providing an incentive program worth one million Toncoins (around $5 million) to encourage the adoption of Proof of Personhood.
Through HumanCode’s integration into TON‘s network, Toncoin users are given the option to confirm their human identity on the blockchain as an added layer of security.
This technology allows for swift and effortless palm scanning on any smartphone or browser, adaptable to various cameras and skin tones. Within mere seconds, it verifies that the user is indeed human through a palm scan, ensuring privacy as no identifying information is revealed.
Dr. Zhang, the founder of HumanCode, is excited about the potential partnership between his platform and the TON Society community.
For several decades, I’ve collaborated with top tech firms globally, developing bots for search engines and social media. However, the advent of bots poses a substantial threat to the internet. Effective countermeasures against automated traffic are highly sought-after. While alternatives exist, HumanCode’s palm verification system ensures enhanced user privacy without needing special equipment. With approximately 900 million monthly active users, we firmly believe Telegram is the ideal platform for driving widespread adoption of web3. In simpler terms, the funds from the grant scheme will be allocated among the individuals involved in different stages of the palm scanning project.
