Shytoshi Kusama, the enigmatic figure within the Shiba Inu community, recently spoke out about the latest significant partnership initiated by SHIB.
During the past week, members of the SHIB community have managed to destroy hundreds of millions of meme coins by burning them.
Shytoshi Kusama’s important message
The mysterious head of SHIB has spoken out about the new partnership between SHIB‘s team and CDSA (Content Delivery Security Association). Through this alliance, Shiba Inu aims to discover the potential applications of blockchain technology within the media and entertainment industries.
The expert in social media marketing for SHIB, identified as Lucie, relayed Kusama’s communication to the community. In this message, Shytoshi emphasized that SHIB‘s partnership would enable professionals in various sectors to effectively leverage advanced technologies, particularly as blockchain and artificial intelligence merge.
CDSA is a global, non-profit entity established in 1970, dedicated to promoting optimal methods for distributing and preserving IT, media, and software. Its primary concern lies in ensuring content security, integrity, and authenticity.
Due to SHIB becoming a part of CDSA, the collaboration is expected to enhance CDSA’s concentration in this area, as well as grant them access to the knowledge and abilities of the SHIB team when it comes to implementing blockchain technology in their projects.
This week, Shytoshi Kusama extended Easter (Passover, Eid, Gudi, Padwa/Ugadi) greetings to the SHIB community. The SHIB team leader encouraged everyone to attend the Blockchain Life Forum in Dubai, which is just a few days away. Notably, Metis and FreeLabs will be hosting a Meme Night Cocktail Reception at the event.
Hundreds of millions of SHIB roasted
Based on information from the Shibburn data monitor, over the last week, approximately 300 million SHIB meme tokens have been discarded by the community, amounting to a grand total of 272,441,541 coins. This substantial disposal has boosted the weekly burn rate by around 13.2%.
Over the last 24 hours, the Shiba Inu community has managed to burn 3,044,312 SHIB tokens by transferring them to non-spendable wallets on the blockchain, leaving only about 5% of those tokens in circulation due to the high burn rate.
On Thursday, this metric soared by 48,554%, with 87,760,994 SHIB locked in unspendable wallets.
