Old Gotham North Cluemaster Puzzle #1 (Locked Room Mystery)
- The Locked Room Mystery is found at coordinates 381, 357
The building’s entrance will be locked and electrified when you get there. Luckily, you can get in by going to the front and using Batgirl’s Drone. Once inside, scan the back wall to find the access code.
Go around to the back of the house and use the terminal – this will unlock the doors. Once inside, grab the battery and put it into the generator near the Puzzle Box. Then, go back outside and talk to the citizen; they’ll give you the last battery you need for the generator.
Old Gotham North Cluemaster Puzzle #2 (Scattered Approach)
- The Scattered Approach Puzzle can be found at coordinates 394, 394
Once you’re facing the Puzzle Box, turn around and go through the tunnels. You’ll find a brick wall that Batman can break open using Explosive Gel, revealing a battery. Place the battery into the generator, and then use a Batarang to destroy the three targets on the walls – they’re connected by a blue wire.
Go back to the Puzzle Box and turn right, then go up the stairs and take the first left. You’ll see a machine with a lever. Pull the lever, and immediately use Jim Gordon’s Foam Sprayer on the cogs. This will keep the three targets you need to hit with a Batarang lit up permanently, instead of just for a short time.
From the Puzzle Box, go straight ahead and turn right towards the pizza shop. You’ll find a lever in the corner. Pulling it will reveal a target above you – hit it with a Batarang.
Okay, so you head back to the Puzzle Box and now all the red buttons light up! What you need to do is use that plant we found earlier and put it on one of the buttons. Then, both of my characters can stand on the remaining two. It’s a bit of a team effort, but it works!
Old Gotham North Cluemaster Puzzle #3 (Playing Cagey)
- Head to coordinates 459, 412 for the Playing Cagey puzzle.
Okay, so I headed up to the rooftop and found this cage right across from the Puzzle Box. There’s a little opening at the back, and thankfully, Talia’s Smoke Bombs let me teleport right through it! I grabbed the key inside, then teleported back out and used it to unlock the cage’s front door. Easy peasy!
Right behind where you appeared, next to the cage, you’ll find a battery leaning against the wall. Grab it and put it inside the cage to unlock the Puzzle Box.
Old Gotham North Cluemaster Puzzle #4 (Key Pipeline)
- The rooftop coordinates at 377, 443 hold the Key Pipeline puzzle.
To solve the Puzzle Box, first look to your right and use the grapple to reach the initial pipe and handwheel. Once you turn it, go down to find the next handwheel. Continue following the connected pipes and handwheels, and the last one will release the key.
Okay, so I finally got the key! Now I need to go back to the Puzzle Box and use it to unlock it. That’s where I’ll find the Cluemaster’s Puzzle Box – awesome!
Old Gotham North Cluemaster Puzzle #5 (Let’s Start the Cook)
- At coordinates 342, 398, on the roof, you can find the Let’s Start the Cook puzzle.
If you look at the large clock, you’ll notice paint on the floor nearby. Batman has a visor that lets him follow the paint, which reveals a sequence of numbers. The orange number indicates the hour, while the blue number shows the minute.
We needed to set the clock to 3:45. To do this, we positioned the yellow hour hand on the 3 and the blue minute hand on the 9. Once the hands are correctly set using the wheels, the Puzzle Box will open.
You can access the Old Gotham North Cluemaster Puzzle Room once you’ve solved enough Cluemaster Puzzles. If you don’t see it at the map coordinates provided, keep working on puzzles to unlock it.
Old Gotham North Cluemaster Puzzle Room #1
- The Cluemaster Puzzle Room can be found at coordinates 338, 380.
When you get there, the room will appear closed with shutters down. To open it and reveal the robot inside, press the locks on both the left and right sides of the front of the room. Once inside, enter the following directions: South, East, East, North, North, West.
