The Ancient Shield is a significant upgrade over Kliff’s starting shield. If you’re searching for a durable, round metal shield with a rich backstory and the potential for free Abyss Gear upgrades, here’s where to find it.

You can find the Ancient Shield at the Sanctum of Faith in Delesyia. Below, we’ve included a guide to its location and a list of its stats to help you decide if it’s worth getting.

How to Get the Ancient Shield in Crimson Desert

  • The Ancient Shield is found in the Sanctum of Faith, in the southeast corner of Delesyia.
  • At the Sanctum of Faith, head opposite the sanctum to find a tower covered in vines.
  • Use Blinding Flash (L1+R1+L1) and aim at the vines until they burn away.
  • Once the vines have burned, enter the room to find a Treasure Chest, which contains the Ancient Shield.

  • The Ancient Shield, like all other shields, can only have 2 Abyss Gears, but it’s nice to have them already equipped.
  • Further refinement for the Ancient Shield will add Defense and Attack Speed, which act as a passive stat for your armor and weapons even when you’re not using the Ancient Shield.
