ARC Raiders Releases Another New Update for April 2026

A new update, patch 1.24.0, is now available for ARC Raiders on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Developer Embark Studios released the patch on April 14th to address important bugs before the larger Riven Tides update arrives later this month. While this update doesn’t add any new content, it includes several necessary fixes to improve the game.

Embark Studio is committed to supporting their shooter game, ARC Raiders, for the next decade. Since its launch in October 2025, they’ve consistently released both large content updates and smaller fixes. In early January 2026, they shared their plans for the year, starting with the Headwinds update. This update included a new, and somewhat debated, 1v3 matchmaking mode, a unique condition for the Buried City map, and other improvements. Just weeks later, players received another significant update called Shrouded Sky, which added a Hurricane weather effect to all maps, two new enemy types, and more content.

ARC Raiders Releases New Update for April 14

Just a few weeks after the major Flashpoint update for ARC Raiders, and before the upcoming Riven Tides update at the end of April, Embark Studios has released a new patch. Update 1.24.0 includes several important fixes for the game, focusing on stability and addressing crashes. It also resolves a problem with the recently added Vanguard Set, which was introduced in last week’s update. You can find the full details in the patch notes below.

The 1.24.0 update for ARC Raiders also resolves a sound issue where players and ARC sounded too quiet when Stella Montis wasn’t visible. It also fixes a problem that caused blurry graphics when AMD FSR Frame Generation was turned on. Regarding the Weather Monitor Station Project, which was unexpectedly removed in the last update, Embark Studios says players who contributed but didn’t finish it should check their in-game messages soon. It’s currently unknown whether players will receive the rewards they earned or a different form of compensation.

Embark has announced that the High-Gain Antenna Project will end before the release of the upcoming Riven Tides update for ARC Raiders, currently expected on Tuesday, April 28. While details about the update are still coming, the game’s 2026 roadmap promises a new map, a large new type of ARC enemy—likely as challenging as the Queen and Matriarch—and the start of the third Expedition.

Players have been increasingly frustrated with the lighting in Stella Montis. Even though there’s a nighttime version of the map, some daytime raids still feature extremely dark areas, making it difficult to see, especially for those using OLED monitors. The community has asked Embark to fix this issue, but so far, no changes have been made.
