Arthur Morgan Actor Gives Official Comment on Red Dead Redemption 3

The actor who played Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2 has shared his opinions about a possible Red Dead Redemption 3, including whether he’d be interested in appearing in it. Even though Red Dead Redemption 2 came out almost eight years ago, the actor is still very connected with its fans.

It’s been almost eight years since Red Dead Redemption 2 came out, so it’s understandable that players are eager for a new installment. While Red Dead Redemption 3 is likely a ways off – probably after Grand Theft Auto 6 launches later this year – fans are still curious about what might come next.

Arthur Morgan Actor Talks Red Dead Redemption 3

Roger Clark, who famously played Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, recently talked about the game on the Fall Damage show. He said fans constantly ask him about a possible Red Dead Redemption 3, and he playfully responded that it’s coming out “tomorrow after lunchtime.” But seriously, Clark admitted he has no idea when or if another game in the series will be made, and believes it will likely be a “long time” before we see a sequel. Despite this, he remains interested in the possibility.

Clark shared his enthusiasm for a potential Red Dead Redemption 3, stating it would be surprising if Rockstar Games didn’t create a sequel. While he’s realistic about not knowing if his character or others will return, he’s definitely open to reprising his role if Rockstar were to ask him, saying he’d be happy to come back if they called.

It’s currently unknown if Rockstar Games will ever create another Red Dead Redemption game. Red Dead Redemption 2 has been incredibly successful, selling over 85 million copies – a huge milestone for any game developer. While Baldur’s Gate 3 has also done very well with 20 million copies sold, it doesn’t compare to the numbers Red Dead Redemption 2 has achieved. However, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still less popular than Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto series. Grand Theft Auto 5 has sold over 225 million copies, and GTA Online continues to generate around a million dollars in revenue each day for Take-Two Interactive. This explains why Rockstar is currently prioritizing GTA.
