In the game known as Atomfall, weapons often carry a “Rusty” label. However, there are superior weapon tiers that players can obtain within the game. Some “Stock” weapons may be found in specific locations, but it’s only after unlocking the skill to craft upgraded weapons that you’ll be able to secure “Pristine” guns.

In the game ‘Atomfall’, players can enhance their weapons by acquiring a specific skill and ensuring they have the necessary resources to build an upgraded firearm, which includes a duplicate of the gun they wish to improve. This tutorial will show you how to upgrade your weapons and provide information on the materials you’ll need to collect in ‘Atomfall’ to craft more powerful weapons.

First, Unlock The Gunsmith Skill

To enhance your weapons in Atomfall, you’ll first need to acquire the Gunsmith ability. You can obtain the Crafting Skill Manual, which is required to unlock this ability, from the Delta Storage Room located within the Interchange. Once you have the manual, spend 7 skill points to unlock Gunsmith.

Once you’ve bought this skill, you’ll find yourself with immediate access to weapon upgrade blueprints for any firearm you acquire.

As a gamer, I’d put it this way: In the game, every gun falls into one of three categories – “Rusty”, “Stock”, and “Pristine”. The majority of guns you stumble upon will be in the “Rusty” state, but as you progress through the mid to late stages, some weapons might get upgraded to “Stock”. It’s only possible for me to craft top-tier “Pristine” weapons myself.

In the process of leveling up your weapons in Atomfall, players will enhance aspects like stability, damage output, and various other characteristics specific to each firearm category.

How To Craft & Upgrade Weapons In Atomfall

In order to enhance weapons within the game Atomfall, there are four essential requirements: gather two identical weapons at the same quality tier, amass sufficient quantities of Gun Oil, and collect enough Scrap. The exact amount of Gun Oil and Scrap required for a weapon upgrade in Atomfall will vary depending on which weapon you choose to improve and the desired upgrade level.

In Atomfall, you can’t combine low-quality and high-quality weapons to enhance a gun. Instead, you need to gather two identical quality weapons, such as two ‘Rusty’ or two ‘Stock’, to craft higher-level versions. The highest level weapon available in the game is the ‘Pristine’.

In Atomfall, it’s beneficial to maintain at least one small and one large inventory space empty. This way, if you come across a gun of your preference with the same quality elsewhere, you’ll have room to store it for an upgrade right away. Keep in mind that weapons in Atomfall can only be upgraded using items from your backpack, not those found on the ground.

After selecting your preferred weapon twice and gathering sufficient Gun Oil and Scrap specific to your weapon type, navigate to the Crafting interface. Within this menu, look for either the ‘Standard’ or ‘Pristine’ variant of your chosen weapon, depending on the quality you currently hold.
