In the game Avowed, Bounties, also known as Bounty Missions, serve as one method for expanding your horizons and accumulating additional resources to enhance your character.
The game adopts a simple structure for its quests, with both main and secondary missions available. Side quests and bounties share similarities; you’ll encounter bounties across all regions. Initially challenging, these tasks are highly beneficial when completed.
How to start Bounties in Avowed
To progress, let’s stick with the primary storyline for now since it leads to discovering new places. Each of these destinations houses a significant township, where you can pick up Bounty missions.
In each region, there are a total of five tasks known as Bounties that you can take on from the board. Once you finish the comprehensive tutorial and move beyond the Northreach Fort, you’ll gain access to the Bounty board.
How to complete Bounties in Avowed
Typically, Bounties represent significant objectives marked on the game’s map. Your assignment was straightforward: locate the objective and vanquish it. The Bounty objectives appear as a blue devil icon with a luminous circle surrounding them on the mini-map for easy identification.
If you haven’t claimed a Bounty yet, you can still view the locations of your targets on the map. When you go to collect your reward, you’ll receive the same benefits as if you hadn’t taken up the Bounty initially. Simply pick up the Bounty from the board, and you’ll have the chance to inform the Bounty Master that you’ve completed some tasks before, adding a bit of flair to your conversation.
In the mini-map, certain locations might be tucked away in caves or secret spots, but they won’t be hard to find since you’ll have a rough idea of their whereabouts. Each objective will be guarded by several enemies, and it’s usually wise to take out the healers first. Your main goal should be the final target, as it’s often more effective to defeat the minions before focusing on the objective itself.
Are Bounties Worth Completing in Avowed
Bounties aren’t just regular tasks; they can be quite challenging. To finish one, you need to locate the target and defeat numerous adversaries. I recommend trying to accomplish as many as you can. In truth, it’s advisable to clear out all the bounties in a specific area before advancing to the next region.
Finishing these tasks awards you 500 units of currency, a sum that grows with each task completed. However, the real treasure lies in the unique items hidden within these missions. Many of these bounties contain exclusive weapons, armor, and accessories at their locations. Moreover, vanquishing your targets allows you to seize valuable loot. Plus, completing these quests will speed up your character development and grant access to new abilities in Avowed. Therefore, it’s highly advisable to take on and finish as many Bounties as possible!
