As a seasoned crypto investor with a decade of experience navigating the digital jungle, I can wholeheartedly vouch for Lucie’s advice regarding scams and rug pulls. The cryptosphere is like a bustling bazaar filled with tempting offers and pushy salespeople. It’s essential to maintain a healthy dose of skepticism, much like treating it as if you were in a foreign market where the street vendors are trying to sell you counterfeit designer bags or tainted trinkets.
Under the alias Lucie, the recognized SHIB marketing authority recently utilized her account on the X platform (previously known as Twitter) to engage with the worldwide community of Shiba Inu coin owners, offering insights on safeguarding themselves from deceitful practices prevalent in the digital currency market.
Here’s how to protect yourself against scams, per Lucie
In a playful yet earnest social media post, Lucie underscored the significance of maintaining a level-headed approach and avoiding being swayed by scams. Essentially, her advice on safeguarding oneself boils down to this: “Just ignore them.
Approaching crypto investments is akin to accepting “sweet treats from unknown individuals” or “purchasing counterfeit goods from persistent street vendors.” It’s crucial to exercise both “caution” and “good judgment.
The best way to protect yourself against scams, rugs, and pump-and-dump schemes is simple: donβt pay attention to them!

SHIB burns jump 208%
According to the Shibburn tracking system, there’s been a significant jump β over 208% β in the SHIB burn rate over the past day. This surge was driven by the elimination of approximately 53 million SHIB tokens from the total circulating amount.
Nearly all the available SHIB tokens were moved to an irreversible wallet on the blockchain in a single transaction, rendering 53,423,510 Shiba Inu coins unreachable and unable to be spent.
Based on information from Shibburn’s website, it is reported that approximately 410 trillion SHIB tokens have been burned so far. A significant portion of these tokens, around 50% of the total supply, was burned by Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin in May 2021. This mass burning occurred after the mysterious creator of SHIB, Ryoshi, sent this amount to Buterin as a gesture of respect.
A total of 583,957,559,864,114 SHIB continue to circulate on the market now.
