Binance Exec Prohibited Hospitalization As Nigerian Officials Flout Court Order

As a researcher with a background in human rights and criminal justice, I am deeply concerned about the latest developments in the case of Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan’s detention and hospitalization in Nigeria. The reports of Nigerian prison officials disregarding the court order to transfer him to a hospital for medical treatment are alarming.

The case of Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan facing money laundering charges in Nigeria has hit a new obstacle. This development underscores the mounting difficulties for Gambaryan as he navigates through the complexities of the ongoing legal proceedings. A recent report reveals that despite a court order to transfer the detained executive to a hospital due to health concerns, Nigerian prison authorities have not complied with this request.

Binance Exec’s Hospitalization: What’s The Scoop?

Last week, CoinGape Media announced that during his ongoing trial in Abuja, Nigeria, Gambaryan had a sudden medical incident resulting in fainting in the courtroom. In response, Justice Emeka Nwite instructed Nigerian prison officials to move the detained individual to Nizayime Hospital for proper care and attention.

As a researcher, I’ve come across disturbing news that Nigeria’s Correctional Service may have disregarded a court order, according to Tigran Gambaryan’s wife, Yuki. This allegation casts doubt on the commitment of those in authority to upholding fundamental human rights.

Concurrently, international sources assert that Tigran was afflicted by both malaria and a serious throat condition. Sadly, during this period, he was unable to receive medical care from a hospital. Alternatively, the Binance executive is currently undergoing treatment in a healthcare facility situated at Kuje Prison.

In an interview with DL News, I expressed my deep sadness and surprise. Despite the unequivocal court order for my husband Tigran’s hospitalization, the authorities have obstructed his release, thus exacerbating the health issues he is currently enduring in prison.

Tigran’s Future Proceedings

As a researcher, I’ve discovered that the upcoming court date for the Binance executive’s case is set for June 14th. This individual is prepared to defend against tax violation allegations brought forth by Nigeria’s Federal Inland Revenue Service. During this period, his wife and legal team remain hopeful and send their well-wishes for his health and strength.

Mark Mordi, acting on behalf of Tigran Gambaryan, had communicated to the court that his client was dealing with health issues and had taken ill. Nevertheless, Nigerian correctional services have thus far declined to provide adequate medical care for the Binance executive, disregarding concerns regarding his ailing condition.

I’ve heard Binance’s CEO, Richard Teng, strongly advocating for the freedom of their executive, Tigran Gambaryan. He’s called for his release publicly.
