As a seasoned analyst with over a decade of experience in the cryptocurrency market, I have learned to never underestimate the insight and foresight of industry leaders like Changpeng Zhao (CZ). His latest prediction about Bitcoin hitting new all-time highs yet again is reminiscent of his earlier bullish calls that have proven accurate time and time again.
Reflecting on the recent fluctuations in the cryptocurrency market, it’s hard not to recall the optimism that permeated just three days ago. At that time, Bitcoin (BTC) was soaring above $108,000, Ethereum was nearly touching $4,000, and Solana seemed impervious to its 34% drop from its record high.
scarcely a few expected such drastic shifts by Friday, yet there’s one individual within the cryptocurrency realm who initially sowed the notion for such a transformation.
We are talking about Changpeng Zhao, or CZ as he is better known in the crypto space, the former head of the world’s largest crypto exchange, Binance.
On December 17th, CZ expressed in a tweet that he was anticipating news headlines as the price of Bitcoin fell from $101,000 to $85,000 and furthermore asked people to save that particular tweet. Three days later, we find ourselves in this situation.

The crypto community didn’t shy away from challenging the previous Binance CEO over his forecasts, prompting a more optimistic follow-up post from him. In response, Zhao expressed his belief that Bitcoin could repeatedly reach new record highs, repeating this trend multiple times as per CZ’s prediction.
According to Zhao’s explanation, there seems to be a recurring pattern in the cryptocurrency market. Just as he suggested, if past trends are any indication, we might experience a full-blown bull market around 2025. However, this year appears to be more about recovery following a bear market.
In the immediate future, it remains to be seen if CZ’s predictions materialize and if Bitcoin reaches a new record high.
